Sorry, I guess?
It's as much as we ever get. I don't know how much people expect for free.

The episodes are free if you own PoF as long as you log in when they are active. Just like prior Living Seasons. If you don't own PoF you can log in and claim it but you won't be able to play it unless you own PoF.Is it even free? Mike Z phrased something very oddly when he was talking about "and the prolog is free to HoT players!" .... why did he phrase it like that? Why did he just say prolog? (He looked ill during the presentation too.) The whole presentation was odd and unnecessary.
Didn't mean to be mean, Ike. That wasn't directed at you so much as my frustration at ANET as a whole.
they had previously even said that season 4 would be followed by more living world, dunno why this rumor of that not being true started.Only watched a small portion of the stream was too busy to watch it all.
The event is is what i expected, when you lay off third of your staff, no F N way you getting an expansion, anyone thinking expansion fooled themselves...
Now I can start season three and finally get around to Path of Fire.
I last played GW2 I believe just after the release of the first expansion, when gliders were first released.
Just hopping back into the game now. Though I'll need to purchase it again, as I can't recover my old account. The required info to do so is stored in a now dead email account. Oh well.
DrSlek.3041 on Maguuma server.
Currently rocking a Human Warrior, Charr Thief and soon an Asura Engineer.
I've looked at the password reset option and it requires a serial number. I don't have access to that as the email address I signed up with back in 2012 no longer exists, and I'm pretty certain I never received a serial key in the first place whe I pre-purchased the game.Did you already contact support about it? I had to do that and my account was recovered pretty easy, though I think with the recent updates and such you might have a higher than average ticket wait time :/

Not not too fussed. Starting over is fine, and the early game content is quite fun and not a slog like it is in so many other MMORPGs.
I too was confused by the decision to implement mounts. Even gliders were a bit on the edge for me.I've followed this game's development closely for a long time and it really makes me sad how it ended up. The map exploration in base+HoT was something amazing though and I'm considering getting PoF to check out the maps and meta events in that one. I'm not too enthusiastic about the mounts aspect (Is this an unpopular opinion? I actually enjoyed their philosophy of no-mounts before PoF).

Mounts are one of the best additions to the game. They add to the game so much.I've followed this game's development closely for a long time and it really makes me sad how it ended up. I returned after a break last night. Got cracking on episode 4 of LWS4. How easy is the new flying mount to get once I get to that point? I remember spending hours in a very well run train to get my Griffon done.

It's a grind to get the living world map currency for the items you need. (250 of each) Mostly it's a scavenger hunt.
It'll take a couple days. The game won't let you do the whole thing at once. Lots of flying around playing hide and seek with collection items.
Is this abad thing? I loved the jumping puzzles in vanilla. Admittedly I haven't played any expansion content, so I have no clue if there are any after vanilla.
Yes, it is unpopular. Because it's a bad opinion.(Is this an unpopular opinion? I actually enjoyed their philosophy of no-mounts before PoF).
I've just started the stage of the skyscale grind where you need to expose the egg to magic. Wow. That's a very long list indeed. Progress is going well on getting enough map currency. I already had the first three unlocked as home instance nodes and it's nice that I can buy an extra five of each daily from Dragonfall. I spend a bunch of time doing hearts and other stuff in the zones mostly for more.
I'm going to take a break tomorrow night and play the new prologue while it's still fresh. I've switched my main from a Scourge Necro to a Mirage Mesmer and I'm having much more fun in combat. Since I'm spending most of my time dodging I find I'm taking far less damage than my Scourge (Although my scourge was super survivable anyway).
It's so damn goodI love how much the new map reminds me of Presearing. That had to be on purpose.
