Never played it. The crude graphics in the first shot made me think Deadly Premonition lol

The second shot made it obvious, though, with the camera.

My actual tipp on this game, which only had me miss one guess so far (spoiler maybe for the current round): Always go for the first one in a series first, when unsure.

Holy shit that was just a wild guess based on "games that start with a wide shot of a place." Never even played Dead Rising, only seen others play it.

I'm not really familiar with the DR series (I have played the first and second a little) but I only got this one because I recognised the name Willamette.

I got what the series is really fast, but
since I have never played it I guess I always thought that the original game was a PS2/Xbox-title, so I literally tried every sequel possible but not the first game...

First time playing so I just saw the subtitle in the first picture and googled it - got the game in one go as I just guessed the original as the screenshot looked kind of old. I didn't even realise there were other screenshots you could click on!

I've only played Guess The Game twice now, yesterday and today. Yesterday I was able to guess it from the fourth picture. But I'm too much of a horror game nerd to not recognize that shot.

Yeah you're not supposed to Google anything :). You get one screenshot per guess, so if you don't know which game it is based on the first screenshot, you can either randomly guess a title or skip. If you got it wrong or you skipped, you then get access to the second picture (the other screenshots will stay locked). Get it wrong or skip again, then you get to see the third screenshot. Repeat until you run out of guesses/hints or until you got the correct answer :)

Once you got the answer right, you can also freely click on all the screenshots/hints.

That's how it works but you're of course free to go at it however you want (Google, ask friends, etc)

I never played this one, but just as I was about to skip, it suddenly dawned on me and I was like "wait, this game takes place in Willamette Mall" lol.

I'll be honest though; I didn't know that it was a real place lol, so the Oregon was throwing me off.

Yeah - i get it - i think it was because it was the first one i'd done, and it just had obvious clues right there in the subtitles, i just went for it. I'm not in any way caliming i "solved" it :-)

I am quite surprised that screenshots do have text in though, but it seems a cool website and concept.
