These are extras separated from getting the platinum though? What's your point?
What? Trophies have been attached to DLC forever. It's a free update and it doesn't take away from the platinum. Why would you not want trophies for DLC

Like I said, it looks like a toggle for the game rather than a separate mode, meaning that you can have it on for Very Easy with all the assists your heart desires.
Well it's enabling you to play the game in a new way, so yeah kinda. Increases the value of the game.
I'd say part 2 is less replayable than part 1, but still this is good. After the Plat I'll just wait for PS5 update myself.
Nice additions. Platinumed this bad boy shortly after launch. Will still wait for a PS5 patch before diving in though.
The difficulty is the dlc content, and it brings new trophies along with it. This is nothing new, and hasn't been for a decade.
Wouldn't do it even if the game was 3 hours long. Seems like something I wouldn't enjoy.

Although I played it on hard and found it way too easy, I will never get that Grounded trophy
I just can't do the Rat King. Had to put it down to the lowest difficulty and I still freaked out every time that fucking thing came near me.

? It's not the first time we saw a sony game receive a ultra hard mode after launch. Just like daysgone, Horizon zero dawn or Tlou 1.
Doom Eternal has a kind of Permadeath mode that you can activate on any difficulty, since the game already operates on a 1-up system.
Yup, I would love some DLC personally...The gap between part 1 and part 2 was much too long.
I think they are done with story DLC's after so many people skipped Left Behind.
But I'm curious about the MP stand alone.
I just finished the game twice to do all the trophies, can't see myself picking it up for another two play through anytime soon. Definitely don't hate myself enough to try and do both of those things at once.
There should be one more trophy called: Masochist (Complete the game on Grounded difficulty with Permadeath)
What does it mean "permadeath"? I Die and need to start the game again?
