60 FPS is the target on X and going by the intro races, it's pretty much nailed on too.

Pristine IQ on the X and feels pretty much like Autosport maybe with a bit more oversteer baked in so far.

Are you the kind of person who will notice screen tearing and framerate drops?

If yes, could you please do a race on the San Francisco track and see if you notice any screen tearing in the city section turns? The Digital Foundry video a week ago showed this happening during those sections on the X.

When I get a chance I shall and yes, I'm an avid fan of DF and use MSI Afterburner with RTSS for frame rate snooping on my PC as a matter of course.

Thanks a lot! If the XB1X version has been cleaned up in this regard I'm going to buy it there. If not I'll go the PS4 route. :)

Unlike Codemasters F1 or most games in the past 5 years or more, GRID 2019 doesn't have proper reflections. It uses some kind of enviroment map that doesn't match the track. Cars doesn't have any reflection either, just lights are reflected. F1 2019 and GRID 2019, both using same EGO Engine 4.

Played a Time Attack on San Francisco with the Ford Mustang.

Used Chase cam and Onboard and while onboard felt smoother, I couldn't detect any screen tearing.

It's stated theres HDR support on X, so the night city tracks should look stunning. If anyone unlocks it early please post impressions!
