Granblue Fantasy Versus by Arc System Works Announced (PS4/2019/Fighting Game)

Just announced, GRANBLUE FANTASY VERSUS will be developped by Arcsystem works (Dragon Ball Fighterz, Guilty Gear Xrd), it will feature 1v1 battles with high fidelity visuals.

RELEASE : PS4 , 2019 for Japan.

No word on PC or Xbox version, or a localized version, for now.

That's the third project Cygames is developping for PS4 after Granblue Fantasy Relink and Project Awakening. So nice to see a mobile company putting that money into the console market, they weren't kidding.

They already confirmed the next Guilty Gear was in the works. Just not ready to be shown. Patience.

Granblue has SOOOOOOO many good picks for a fighting game.

Feather/Ayer would be dope for your traditional boxer type
Aliza would be good for a kickboxing style
You got weirdos like Orchid who can be a stand user

Going to be very interesting seeing who they pick for the roster.

Yeah this series makes it hard for them to pick "wrong" characters. It's just going to be a perfect fit no matter what.

I think they probably meant the weapons that come with the characters in the gacha (like Lyst Sin for Vira.)

The gacha weapons match characters in Granblue, and people are already guessing the roster based on that.

(.ie Zeta and Vaseraga have their weapons in).

English site is up so I guess this means it's getting localized! Super excited for this! If it's as beginner-friendly as FighterZ is then I have hope of being competent in this game, haha.
