Cool, as I suspected. They won't charge to stream games, just like you streaming your owned or rented movies etc..you get from Google, you don't pay extra. Charging for a premium experience (that I would never get or even use) is fine imo. Also sounds like the pro sub has a game catalog attached to it.

Hope Microsoft does something similar, I don't want to pay a subscription fee to play the games I already own.

They will probably make the service available on any device. For example if anything runs the Chrome browser you should be able to play it. The Chromecast they give you is to make it a console like experience.

You can access it without the sub next year. The sub is for 4k steaming etc and free games PS+ XBL Gold style (NOT Netflix style).

Yup. If you buy a $60 game it's gonna cost you $60+$10x12=$180 to play that game at 4K/60FPS.

That is one automatic advantage for Microsoft with xCloud already.
Play games you own natively on Console or PC and also stream them to any other supported device.

Full price for streaming only as an options seems excessive to me.

Agreed, Google might come to regret this approach. It's basically just PS+ at this point.

Interested in Base tho if it gets sales and I can stream to my iPad at some point.
