I'm pleased with Vulkan getting more traction in any case. Maybe someday games will not be tied to operating systems the way they are today. Break Microsoft's stranglehold over the industry why not
Like google said, it's built for scaling, so... technically they can just upgrade it lmao.
Of course it is possible, but it's at the mercy of the benevolence of the platform and license holders. We wouldn't have 90% of mods and fixes out there if it weren't from the fact that user have access to executable.
So already outdated, because next gen consoles will probably have more, if not the first ones than 100% the Pro models of PS5 and next XBOX will have way more than that.

Yeah, no. This is about what Next-Gen is also going to end up at. Just a year earlier and way cheaper.
The whole point is that this can scale as tech grows. No need to buy a new box to get more power.
I don't care about "owning" games. I just want to enjoy them. "Garbage quality" is still better than current consoles.

thats fine because they will just upgrade it, remember we dont buy the new hardware, the streaming hosts handle that. at most different tiers of service
