I shouldnt, and no victim should have to air their trauma to gain validity on a topic at hand. Its a gross trend that has done little good for anyone in the years it became the 'norm'. Being INFORMED on a subject like this shouldnt be treated as a Defense Force or imply that Im a predator as well. Are you fucking kidding me?
Literally no where in my post did I️ say you should do that. I️ Said you should be aware no one knows where you're coming from and keep that in mind with how you present yourself and info.

I tried presenting it as objectively as possible. Even bringing up the instance of actual kids getting into trouble for posting the real thing because its often conflated with fiction only for the person below me to essentially say 'Thats pretty suss you know so much.' So if there is a better way to frame it without announcing to the world I'm a victim in the future I'm all ears.
Ya back off. All she said was that virtual child porn is not equal to actual child porn since one has an actual victim. Don't just accuse people of shit.
It's normalizing it and even the fictional stuff is illegal in many parts of the world (including Canada where I️ believe she's based in)
Keep in mind that some of the themes people discuss on this forum might hit close to home and some posters might not want to get too personal or open-up too much when talking about somethings because it might be a sensible topic to them. Maybe the onus should be on us to not deliberately accuse people with the presumption that we know them and that they're ill-intended.
It might be. It's something that involves mental issues and other stuff I'm not equipped to talk about. There's barely any research on how it effects people. My hope is that it keeps people from trying to get the real thing, but it may promote it.

There are studies spanning decades that have said that is false. We just went through this with videogames normalizing violence irl with GTA being the star of the show. Culture, society, and decades- hell centuries long propoganda normalizes things. Otherwise we should all be frighteningly concerned about the popularity of GoT.
