Hypothetically, what is the minimum amount of cash you would accept in return for all your internet searches to become public to everyone you know?

All incognito mode searches are visible in this scenario.

You aren't giving me any incentive to set the minimum to any less than a billion trillion dollars.

5 million. Enough for 3 houses in the Bay Area.
My history isn't too weird. Maybe a few weird bukkake videos but that's it.

Uhhh you honestly couldn't put a price on that. Does my father need to know that I've googled "How to tie a tie?" literally 1000 times?

Meh, like 6 figures?

Sure, some of it is embarassing - but none of it couldn't be written off as simple curiosity. None of it reputation runining, i think.

Truth is I'd do it for free if I had to and I've searched for some pretty messed up shit. I just don't care about what other people would think of me.

$500,000. I think my history is extremely tame, at least for the last ten years. It's the stuff I don't remember searching for and/or browsing when I was in my 20's that I'd be concerned about. With $500k, even if I got fired and ostracized I'd be able to eeek out a comfortable living until the end of my days.

I tend to google things I feel other people google, which makes it look like I'm googling it for me, but I'm really googling it to see what pops up.

5 million or so. I've seen some horrible shit.
I'm sure my SO would leave me, but I would still use the cash for her student loans and a house cause that's how it be sometimes.
Also who needs people when you have CONSUMER MEDIA money?

$500,000. I could go lower, but uh, if we're going to negotiate I wanna maximize my reward.

minimum? honestly not a lot i'd probably be willing to do it for as low as like 10k or so

sure there's some embarrassing stuff in there but i've searched for a lot of stuff over the years so if someone really wants to dig through all that volume good for them I guess

so yeah just enough to give me a reasonable incentive but it wouldn't take a ton

$500k will last you a lifetime? I'd barely get through a decade.

I don't really have anything super embarrassing to hide but to give out it up it needs to be worth it, so upwards of 2 million.
Everybody is just going to look at it and go "what a fucking nerd" and then get bored by it anyway

1 quadrillion dollars.

Srs though, I don't care too much. Can't think of anything I've googled that would look too bad or weird, providing that I'm allowed to provide context for the searches.

With the rise of Twitter and Facebook who would even pay for your embarrassing searches when there are millions of people creating embarrassing content each and every day for free and for everybody to see?

I'll take whatever anyone is willing to give me for it. Oh no, someone I know will know that I occasionally watch porn and send a lot of time on era!!

I don't even have porno to hide so \_(ツ)_/¯ I don't care who sees what I look at. Well no porno as an adult, as a teen sure, but I still wouldn't care.

I mean as much money as I can possibly get so a few billion would be nice, but in all honesty I'd prolly do it for a few grand because I've browsed through it myself and it's not very exciting. Last time I checked googles search history on me I gave up after scrolling through 8 months worth and just being like you're a boring ass fucker. If someone wants to go through endless lists of vsts/plugin reviews and shit like sony vegas vs davinci and shit like that tho PM me with the loot and I'll send you my search history. Oh I guess there's a bunch of quality music theory searches I've done too, so my search history might be educational.
I dno what my 12 year old me searched for but outside of some shitty virus laden free porn it probably isn't worth paying for either.

I'm assuming you mean all browsing, not just searches or just google.

5 million definitely.

1 million, still yes.

500,000... fuck it, sure, that's a lot of money and I'm sure I can live it down.

100,000... ehhhhhhh.

Although I have this nasty suspicion that the worst things I can remember looking for aren't actually the worst ones I looked for.

Like, 50k. I ain't got nothing to hide. Marvel at the weird fanfic I read, giggle at Tracy's dog, and wonder wtf I'm looking up things like cyber body modifications along with how to recover from torture at 2 am.

I'm a writer, it excuses everything mwhaha

I dunno, I've searched for some weird shit.

And not just the porn. People might think I was a terrorist. I'm gonna need like $560 million.

Give me like 7 digit amount in US Dollars. If I can profit off of something so mundane as my browsing history then might as well make it big.

"hello sir, can I interest in some torture? "

Stick a fork in it, Michael!

Thankfully, the EU has sensible privacy laws, so this would be, under ANY given circumstance, entirely illegal.
