I didn't manage to say thanks before the last thread closed so thanks for all the giveaways! :D Once I'm back home I'll go through my keys I have leftover and see if there's anything worthwhile to gift back, I should have some Humble keys later this month too! :)
I agree, it should be one post if anything but five leads to (understandable) spam, I mean I'm doing it too right now :P
Wish people, especially in a giveaway-focused thread, could not select it.
When it's in a community thread, it has more its place to benefit to the usual posters, but not really here...
The setting is fine cause its designed for other OTs, people should just stop enabling it for this one
re-reading the OP having it set for giveaways in OTs makes sense, and not so much for this thread. it was just turned on by default so i assumed it was suggested but the OP clearly states it isn't for pure giveaway threads which is a good idea

Agreed. It's great for something like the PC games OT etc.., but not for this thread.
Thankfully there is the giveaway threadmarks... I mean, if you're only here for the giveawaysWaking up to a new thread of 25 pages, on a monday.
It's an optional setting that isn't designed for threads like this. It's for community threads, so people can create giveaways specific for people in that community. Threads like this aren't really a conversation, more a celebration and a bit of fun, and if people want to post to reach the lurker limit, then that's really not a problem (within reason, of course).
This thread is good and the generous people are also good and this is post #5, and that's good as well.
Yeah I completely understand. Just commenting on it because the same spam to 5 posts happened in the previous thread. It is what it is though :)
Okay yeah that I can agree with, other threads can benefit from this but for this one it just makes a mess.
Even the member who just posted 5 numbered posts all at once? I mean, at least we're trying to make it look like normal posts :p
