What a season, what a season it has been, a great scholar once have said. Hello everyone and welcome to your annual GOTY festivities in which we celebrate the games of 2019 as long as they do not come near a list. This also marks another special occasion, we're entering the start of a new decade! and what do you get for it? MORE LISTS. Now, you not only have GOTY lists to drive you insane but also best of the decade lists(but seriously, lists shouldn't make you go nuts and I will use this space to tell you to chill the fuck out and enjoy the different views around you).

As usual, I try to make these as concise as possible because I will be using this space to update it on a regular basis everyday so I will try to not stuff too much on here. This will help all of you and future comers to easily get to where they want to be regarding everything Giant Bomb's GOTY 2019. Having said that, I would like to address some highlights of the year.

Vinny & Dan finished Altered Beast in one go
Abby conquered RE2make & RE4 on stream!
The student became the master
Baby Jeff!
Alex conquered Mass Alex 2
Jan brought his POKE expertise to the forefront
Heave Ho is Fart of the Year
DADDY DADDY DAN
The Beastcrew did a whole bunch of crimes
Business Dave had a bigger presence in content this year
Dan & Ben went through a bunch of community made level in Super Mario Maker 2 and gave out prizes
Rorie Unchained Part Deux
Beastcrew engaged in a whole lot of monkey business
Gameboy Advance made a 2 or so hour comeback
Finally, we have the definitive list of the worst songs of the 80s

I would also like to shoutout the wonderful, passionate GB community(you know who you are) on here because I wouldn't have been here if it weren't for them. I hope everyone has a good rest of the year and a good holiday!

Me and Giant Bomb haven't agreed on a single GOTY this generation. My 2014(Alien Isolation), 2015(Bloodborne), 2016(Last Guardian), and 2017(Prey) picks didn't even make the list) buuut I'm feeling great about Outer Wilds this year.

Modern Warfare doesn't deserve to win awards, at least not for anything multiplayer-related. The co-op mode is lame and the PvP is a campfest.
