OK, that's not too bad. Thanks.
It makes me think of a Victorian era paper/toy/mechanical theater:I think the difference is the original animation was a simple 2 frame pixel art.
Here they're taking static art and rotating it really quickly to make it move and it looks weird, almost like a cheap Flash animation game.
The art itself in this game is really good, I love how it sorta evokes the old arcade cabinet or the box art, but I'm still not a big fan of the way they've chosen to animate it. I'd rather choppy 2 frame animation (where the limb is actually redrawn in the new position) than the rotation they're using.
Also he should have a red beard like in Ultimate!
Still looking forward to the game, though.
It's people who prefer the style, which I can understand. I really like the look of this though. This game looks beautiful.
I still don't get the PSP version looks better takes. It's cuckoo.
Idk, the chunky polygons of those Capcom PSP games were not that great. They did best with Powered Up, which took a different approach:It's people who prefer the style, which I can understand. I really like the look of this though.
I'm still salty that I never got to play Ultimate Ghosts 'n' Goblins and especially that it never became available on EU PSN to play on my Vita.
It literally looks like a pop up book. Which is sort of how I've always felt it should look maybe with a bit more shading. This game looks beautiful.

it looks so good
Hopefully late Spring on PS4/Xbox/Steam.
Hey, does anyone remember this canceled Ghosts 'n Goblins remake for PS1?
Some reviews of PSP Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins - I digged through internet archive to find these, glad I did because I has never seen any of them before.
Ooh.. it's this digital only? 🐺 💦
at the end of the new update video, they show the eShop logo... I was hoping for a nice physical version...
There's an easy mode.I don't know man...I absolutely love Ghouls 'N Ghost/Ghost 'N Goblins but am starting to get to old to play platformers with this level of difficulty.
Then I shall brave demon lands once more!
God speedI'll be turning 50 soon and my fingers will be ready.
As a GnG series fan, I'll be tackling the new game on the second highest difficulty first. Wish me luck!
