Indefinitely doesn't just mean: "Forever", it also means: "For an unspecified amount of time", and in this regards they gave no date so it's been delayed for an unspecified amount of time.

I doubt it, Ubi is big enough and it would look bad if they did cancel it. Plus the Ghost Recon name, they are trying to build that up.To be fair in this case... I wouldn't be shocked if they become one and the same.
