This shit would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad. Yet hundreds of thousands will still vote for a snake who doesn't give a rat's ass about them.

This won't matter at all to the Trump Cultists.

"Why should Perdue show up to a rigged debate in a rigged election?" (And then they'll vote for Perdue anyway.)

Kind of like this

but actually meaningful.

Keep the focus in the messaging on the "if we get both seats, more stimulus checks are coming, if we don't, they will never come". Keep that up, like it was here.

Republican voters don't care. If the candidate was a piece of turd with the R attached to it, they would gladly vote for it.

One doesn't show up, the other repeats one sound byte endlessly, both will win or come close to winning. Sigh, democracy sometimes...

All they have to do is tell Georgians why they are going to get them the stimulus money on a monthly basis, and point to the scoreboard on how Republicans have went almost a full year blocking the stimulus money.

It's not supposed to matter to Trump Cultists. It's supposed to matter to independents and swing voters. We'll see if it does.

Unbelievable how shook Perdue is after that last debate.

Even more unbelievable that people will vote for a man so shook.

Both these debates need MONTHLY. STIMULUS. 2000$. A.MONTH. RETROACTIVE. yelled for the better part of 15 minutes total.

I hope each candidate mentioned that. It doesn't even have to be true but it's closer than not.

So many easy keywords to drive home.

Seriously this. We already know they're shitty people who will either do or allow others to do shitty things. Don't waste time on that. We've had 4 years of that, we haven't forgotten that quickly even though we as a country have the memory of gold fish. Focus on what you can do for people to get them to the polls to vote for you. Talk about delivering, because as shitty as republicans are, they deliver their shitty agenda for their constituents each and every time.

Perdue had more than Ossoff. But in the other race that had like 20 different candidates, Warnock had the most overall. But when you add up all the votes for Dems vs votes for Repubs, Republicans came out on top again I believe.

yeah 2 republicans split over 2 million votes. Warnock got 1.6 mil iirc. Republican turnout vastly outnumbered the support for Warnock

To be fair, that election had a total of 20 candidates. 8 of whom were Democrats and 6 were Republicans. Altogether there was about. 2.378 million votes for Dems and 2.426 million for Republicans. A 1 point loss, definitely not a beatdown and actually a little better than how Ossoff fared vs Perdue. Although having so many candidates may have had something to do with that.

If you add up all the Democratic share of the vote in the special you'd get 48.4%, Republicans got 49.4%.

Geez, I am not expecting an upset, but I'm hoping GA dems show up and put us on the right path.

Honestly, it's really hard to call how things will turn out. If the Dems can keep Election Day turnout that'd be enough if just 4% of republicans didn't vote that did in the election. And GOP/Trump are giving their best effort to disenfranchise their base

Cowards still going to vote for a man that doesn't care about representing them, to the extent that he's terrified of being challenged on anything in front of an audience. Ossof is completely right - it disqualifies him from being able to call himself a leader.

I feel the Senate seats are locked. Between this clown show, and Trump pushing Republicans not go vote in January, the Democrats should see another victory.

This is such a perfect example of US politics. Politicians who are so comfortable and confident in their own power that they feel they owe nothing to the constituents they are supposed to represent.

And the clincher is that, sadly, they so often get away with it. I mean, if you were your typical sociopathic GOP politician, would you bother to work for actually helping your constituents if spouting bigotry and "Radical Socialist Democrats!!" was all you needed to do to sew up their votes?

It's like shooting fish in a barrel for these people.

I'm not feeling good about beating Purdue since he's an elected incumbent and it's a special election. But Loeffler was never elected and she's as awful of a candidate as Martha McSally, so maybe we can beat her. Unfortunately, if we split the races, we still don't get the Senate. I'll hope for a miracle from Stacey Abrams, but I'm not expecting easy wins.
