I think bashing one, and then allowing the other to heal from 50%->100% is a much more realistic strategy.

I am not watching streams, even if I am not taking story seriously, it is much better to go into cutscenes/landmass/bosses without knowing chunks of it.
There were rumors that they were having problems rendering, and thus the delay. I believe one of the other streams was like 480p.

I think this english stream, at least the way they are doing it with the voice actor webcams, is literally a last minute thing they put together.
