I'm on a 2080 super so unless these cards are reasonable priced I'll wait until next year to upgrade. Hopefully a TI/Super will be out then.
Imagine if it's only 1k tho
Jensen will show you the way. Listen to his teachings. Will third party cards be available immediately? Or will they take a few weeks/months after the flagship cards come out?
Is there anything at this point, technology wise, that could be announced that would surprise us at this event?
Or we just waiting for prices at this point?
rude. This isnt the event for you, pretty sure the 3060 is months away.
Yes, 750 was recced on some leaks.850W PSU should be totally fine handling these cards, yeah? D:
1199 MSRP. 1399 on shelves.
3090 tho... Just sayingMy GPU history is literally 2 cards at this point. 780 to 2060. I... I think I'm in for a 3080?
Lol same!
I'd sell out for $3000, too.
I have too many open questions to jump in feet first, as tempting as it might be.
- benchmarks from real people
- same card comparisons from different vendors
- power requirements
- length (planning a new build around a meshify C so 315mm max length)
So I'll sit and watch the fireworks and initial impressions from everyone and hopefully dive in when things calm down a bit
Get one for you wife too
I need a new card and I am only going to be getting the Ampere cards, so my thinking is, I will get this card on day 1, and if my PSU (650 W) isn't enough, I can always just buy a beefier PSU later on.
You should be scared.
If pricing is indeed "good", then people are going to absolutely flock to the 3080 pre-orders. You could afford to get a nice superclocked / binned one.One of the more on-point insiders/leakers has said the pricing will be "good". Make of that what you will. My guess is somewhere between Pascal and Turing.
