NVIDIA's new GeForce Hotfix driver 460.97 released, fixes 5 bugs

NVIDIA's new GeForce Hotfix Driver 460.97 fixes some issues that were reported by the community after the previous driver release.

The hotfix addresses the following issues:

• Some apps that use NVML may not detect GPU [3200758]
• Stutter may be observed with some configurations in Marvel's Avengers [3197999]
• Lenovo Y740 may display corruption on waking from sleep [3178279]
• Some notebooks may BSOD when waking from sleep while connected to external monitor via dock/dongle [3162411]
• With HDR enabled, black levels are incorrect. [200682795]

Hopefully this fixes my dads issue. His PC has a Ryzen 9 5900X and a RTX 3080 with 64 GB of RAM and I can't get him above 30FPS at 720p even, with everything at low.

Guessing the NVML detection wasn't probably working?

I got a new monitor for work, saw it had HDR, but when I tried turning it on in DOOM Eternal, it looked incredibly messed up. I'll have to see if this somehow fixes it?

I would love for them to finally fix the shitty black screen i'm getting when i watch youtube or any videos with my 3080.

Turning hardware acceleration of in chrome helped but that shouldn't be the solution. It worked flawless with my 2080.

Thankfully gaming has no problems so far.

wow i have this stupid laptop and I've been trying to get lenovo to fix it for over a month

The screen was glitching, and I was almost so sure it was a hardware issue, like a loose connection or something.

I just so happen to glance at this topic and read that line about the y740 and just decided to use DDU to see if it would work and it did

i google'd the issue and it seems like it started back in june/july

what the fuck
