It's officially coming to Xbox consoles but I wouldn't expect it until 2021, unfortunately.
Yeah now I'm doubting it was, but I was definitely going on that assumption for months. Some of their messaging at those earlier events was confusing.

No it was shown at their May show. The July show was the Gamepass show.
Yes the Beyond Light expansion releases on Nov 10 and will be on Gamepass day one. All previous expansions are going on Gamepass before then as well.
I think you just got mixed up because it and the older games coming to Game Pass where all kind of announced around the same time period
This game is really great-I definitely recommend it to those how like tactics games or squad rpgs.

I want some behind the scenes info on that whole thing. The only logical explanation I can think of is that they honestly thought Halo Infinite would an absolute home run.
My guess is they just completely misjudged the mood.
The first showcase being all CGI made the scrutiny of the second one much greater than it would have been already, and then when that was mostly CGI and Halo: Infinite failing to impress, the probably walked away wondering how that ended up going so badly.
I imagine a lot of the stuff they have announced today might not have been finalised then, but I'm sure one or two things could have been thrown in.
I was hoping for Halo at launch but getting the next best thing! Can never get enough of my Gears :)

Y7 was never announced for GP. You likely mistook it for one of the other Yakuza games which were late releases.

Would someone who is a fan of Halo Wars like this? I like XCOM as well but not as much.
I don't understand the issue people have installing from PC gamepass, I've never had an issue.
Also wondering this. Never played a game like wasteland 3 and I didnt really like it at first but now im heavy into it. I have gears on pc only played it for a few minutes tho .
