Yeah, I would normally expect a ~2 hour analysis video for something like this, but given that the game comes out in like 6 weeks, it wouldn't really be worth it for them to do it. It would take at least a few weeks of non-stop work to produce the video, only for it to be relevant for a few weeks before the actual game release.
I believe they did the same thing for the last Breath of the Wild trailer as well.

Eh, I appreciate the effort but at this point I think Nintendo themselves have revealed pretty much everything the game has.

Not really though, we have no idea what it does, if it's 3D World exclusive, how it's unlocked, etc. Just because it showed up in a menu definitely doesn't equate to it being shown off
They've been running a number of videos and there is a fair bit of unknown info or things they have already uncovered that Nintendo did not talk about.

Splitscreen multiplayer would be a really fun addition, but alas, I don't think it's gonna happen

I agree. The addition of splitscreen would allow multi-players to move at their own pace.
Well, it seems you'll still be able to get this via local wireless and online at least! But there's something about playing together on the same screen that can't quite be matched
