I love Gamexplain seriously it was like a little slice of Nintendo power still lives on. I also love how passionate and genuine they are in their discussion.
I wouldn't mind RogersBase joining the crew, however he's at his best when he's not being so extra, dial it down Roger...
If you guys didn't know they do a fun podcast too which is great to listen to as you get to know them better.

Giant Bomb mentioned in their Dark Souls Remastered Quick Look for the Switch that docked footage was embargoed. GameXplain had some docked footage here. Was there an arrangement, was Giant Bomb mistaken or something else?

Different regions! We're running off Nintendo of Europe's embargo whereas it looks like Giant Bomb are working with Bandai Namco US

Just need to say the games of the decade videos have been phenomenal. I personally don't typically care for GotX stuff but the ones GX are doing right now have made it fun and worthwhile.
The presentations are doing a great job at both making me feel nostalgic for the ones I played and want to give a second chance to the ones I missed.

Echoing the congratulations! To think I remember watching GX back in high school and now I'm in medical school so many years later. Those Discussion videos brought me through a hell of a lot, so I'm grateful for them (and the rest of the content as well of course).

What a great way to cap off the anniversary. Number one almost made me shed a tear because those Smash Wii U discussions are so near and dear to my heart. I've seen them each at least half a dozen times, and I'm not even exaggerating lol

God, with really the most prominent GX members leaving..... I can really only think that is has gotten awful to work there. With Jon needing basically 2 jobs to support himself and his baby, and with Derrick leaving..... I really think things have gotten a bit odd there.
Listening to episode 208 of the podcast was also... a bit unnerving.
I definitely don't think any one person is at fault, but I think the channel got ahead if itself. Which is a good and bad thing. I definitely will support Derrick and I have actually been a huge fan of Nintendo life for a bit too. But man. Things seem to not be good. I would have thought that Derrick at the very least, would have some huge part of sway. But it seems like he was creatively shackled.
also, really. I will still watch them, especially for Joey. But man has their content taken a hit a lot of times. Like a lot of their analysis's our basically just top 10s. Damn this is insane. I assumed he was just on leave for the pregnancy as he alluded to on the podcast. I didn't think it would be a permanent departure.I wonder if he saw growth in Twitch and decided that was just a much better avenue for money than youtube.

I think everyone expected Derrick to leave GX, the writing was on the wall for a month or two. The moment Derrick said he wanted to start streaming on his own channel and make partner I was like "yep he's gone", especially when GX announced 3 new members in the span of like a month.
