No promo, just regular trade in value.I can't seem to find a promo, unless you mean they just don't have one. Current value for a pro is $175.

Hear hear
You do realize there will be Digital sales for Black Friday as well? Sometimes it really feels like people don't ever see PSN sales.
You can get $200 for a 1X currently towards a new console and I believe that lasts until the 30th but double check that date....
I got the email saying you can trade-in the Pro or One X for $200 off the new consoles, but when I check the trade-in value online they both show as $175. Can you only do it in store or does it have to be specifically applied to a new console preorder? It's been a while since I've done a trade-in there.
I don't think they were saying that. It just very unlikely games like Watch Dogs Legion (32.99), 13 Sentinels (29.99), Persona 5 Royal (19.99 @ BB) hit those prices this year on PSN. Maybe in 2021, but it will be at least a 3-6 month wait. You do realize there will be Digital sales for Black Friday as well? Sometimes it really feels like people don't ever see PSN sales.
Can you still do this even if there's no console available to trade towards at the time?$175 would be the regular trade in value, $200 is what you get if you trade it in towards the new consoles

RE3 Is at the perfect price. Wish Ghost Was $30, that's the highest ill go for it. I love physical sales lol.
Even if PSN/Xbox digital prices don't get that low (say $5 -$10 higher on sale), it's still worth it to be all digital for me. Convenience and account sharing (with my 16 yr old) makes it more than worth it. Anyway, these prices are good for those who like physical games.I don't think they were saying that. And of course, they can always sell those physical games and get more value out of them. They could play Legion and probably flip it back to GameStop for $20-$30 credit probably until January, or sell to another person too.
True, especially with account sharing. Saves a lot of money that way too. Thanks, do you know if you also need to include the controller with it or just the console? Also, do we have any confirmation on how complete the backwards compatibility is with Xbox One? Is it literally all games are 100% compatible or is it like with PS5 and XB360 compatibility on Xbox One where certain titles aren't compatible?
I kept my 360 because the back catalog wasn't 100% compatible on Xbox One but I'm wondering if there's any reason to hold on to my Xbox One X?

Isn't Persona Royale $10 at Best Buy this black friday? It might just be for the regular edition but I could swear it was cheaper.
Yeah I think you have to trade in controller and all cables that come with the system
Definitely not all of them, though I'm sure they're continuing to add more
Yea you include everything the console came with, the cables, controller, charging cable, etc.
AFAIK there's no reason to keep it if you're getting the Series X.
If you're buying a Series S, then I guess one thing to keep in mind is that Series S' backwards compatibility is apparently inferior to the X1X's if I recall correctly. So if you're buying a Series S and that matters to you, I guess that'd be one reason to consider keeping it.
I'm honestly probably gonna go super early (like 6pm) and just camp out until the morning -.-Wonder how early I ought to show up for that 7am opening in order to secure a PS5.
Maybe I'll bus down there at 11pm. x_x

Ugh! I just bought Watch Dogs yesterday when I traded in my current-gen consoles. Oh well.
They said don't camp or wait in front of a store on launch day, because all extra PS5 systems will be online onlyActual walk-in-store-and-physically-buy-console? I thought Sony said that this ain't it?
Wow $17 for Star Wars is a steal
And I'm stocking up on gamepass cards
13 Sentinels for $30 isn't bad. Gamepass Ultimate for $20 is excellent. Wonder if there will be a sale on 2K Mamba edition. I suspect there will be but we shall see.
