If you're worried about being exposed to something bad, stand further away from the screen and turn off the sound or something. You can always come closer to the screen and turn on the sound later if it turns out to be something innocent.

Good luck. Good chance it is nothing or something mundane, but if it's something gross then terrible homemade porn is like the best case scenario. It could get so much worse than that.

I want to know as well, just out of pure curiosity. I am of the mind that it isn't anything illegal, but no clue what it could be.

Yeah, my money is on teenagers doing dumb shit that put that tape there as some sort of time capsule. It was a hidden space, accessible but discoverable.
Never watched it 😂, but it's on my watchlist now. If OPs tape turns out to be something boring, I'm gonna mitigate my disappointment by watching the movie 😸

Well, if it is something nasty or illegal, there is a partial fingerprint on the front of it...
I mean it's probably porn instead of a murder tape. It's not hidden well enough to be a murder tape.
Whoever put it there still wants it hidden, but it's hopefully nothing horrible.
I was downing Nesquik and Cocoa Pebbles like a fiend. Haha. My cousin (and roommate) worked at a grocery store at the time. He'd tell me that Cocoa Pebbles were on sale for $2 a box, and I'd just pull a $50 bill out of my wallet and have him buy as many as he could. Needless to say, his co-workers thought he was pretty strange, and they didn't believe him when he said that he was buying them for his cousin. Haha. Our pantry was practically full of Nesquik and Cocoa Pebbles, the former of which I bought in bulk from Sam's Club.
