I remember when gaming mice a decade ago hyped themselves when they had up to 8000 DPI. The Logitech G502 everyone loved years ago had 12000 DPI.
A few days ago, Logitech released a software update to somehow upgrade their 16000 DPI mice to up to 25600 DPI. Out of curiosity, I tested it out with my G604; it traversed 2x 5k displays with a very, very tiny movement of the mouse.
For general use where I primarily use a single 5k display, I have it set at 12000 DPI, which is the best balance of speed, accuracy, and wrist movement for me. (I don't do any DPI cycling because mouse buttons are precious)
What DPI do you use?
EDIT: I am apparently in the extreme minority.
