I think its a pretty sound strategy actually. Get a bunch of players familiar with each other and speak common language. Probably makes it easier to create team chemistry .

I don't actually mind either! The level of play in the Premier also means those players have to step up in ways that they never would here or in most other leagues. So it works out for both sides in the end :P

They have this pairing system where some teams from the same country can't play on the same night. So Man U and Liverpool can't for example.

we played them at the beginning of the Sarri cycle, with bunch of B-team players when our B-team was really shit and ended up 9-2 in the two legs. knowing how well those three teams play and how easy they usually score, I can see them getting close to a double digit score in a single match
