On the UK eshop?
That sounds like a good deal. I love it when I have enough games to play already and being selective leads to a lot of savings on game purchases :)
Yeah
Don't buy this game!
Thanks, but it's showing as 33% off @£20.09 for me. Perhaps an additional % off for online subscribers?Yeah

40% off
The Winter update patch is also coming to Switch
Weird, it does actually show for me as £20 but then quickly changes to £17.99Thanks, but it's showing as 33% off @£20.09 for me. Perhaps an additional % off for online subscribers?
That could make sense as they've done that on Steam before. Thanks for looking though, I'll keep my eyes peeled and keep checking.Weird, it does actually show for me as £20 but then quickly changes to £17.99
Its in todays PR twice as well as both prices but no mention of a special offer
I wonder if its because I bought FM18
What price does it show you if you click the above link? Just working out if its an extra discount for those who own FM18You lot are making it very difficult for me to resist 'upgrading' to 2019, especially if there's a discount for owning 2018.
Is it worth it, or should I just stick to 2018?

Yeah as per Lite Agent in the eShop threadYup, it starts off as £20 but changes to £17.99 after a few seconds. It's definitely an 'upgrade' discount.
Recently got the 19.2 patch which improves some things, doesn't have any of the January transfer window stuff though
Regarding the Winter update
EDIT: Actually they've just tweeted
Is 2018 or 2019 on Switch better for a newcomer? Or should I maybe wait for 2020 if folks are confident on any meaningful upgrades/changes?
true. I've been playing it since the CM early days and don't have any intention to drop it.FM is lowkey one of the most impressive pieces of entertainment software ever created. Doesn't get as much recognition it deserves.
