By making it proper adventure movie for teens. How the hell is this going to work?
Is Dora going to look at the camera whenever they get lost and everything stops for 5 seconds before a giant arrow points them in the right direction?
If not, I'm staying home.
Swiper has seen some shit since Dora last saw him.
Because the actress is close to 20?
Google says
She played a Mexican cartel daughter in the Sicario sequel.
Uum she's definitely not. She's literally just standing there.
My guy you are grasping at straws with this one.
will it really be a different role tough? that backpack in the poster look like she is carrying some combat knives and a silenced gun.Portrayed by the girl from Sicario 2. Quite a different role for her. :P
Yeah and that's a pretty bad casting choice, isn't Dora supposed to be a seven year old girl playing in her backyard and imagining talking monkeys and foxes and shit?
Uhhhhhhhh what do you find sexy about her pose? D:
It is not that pose at all lol.
I think this is supposed to be after the series when she's a teenager.Yeah and that's a pretty bad casting choice, isn't Dora supposed to be a seven year old girl playing in her backyard and imagining talking monkeys and foxes and shit,
Not at all. Dora is not standing directly in front of the camera, as Tracer is in that photo, but is shifted towards the right, which doesn't expose her to such a vouyeristic gaze. It also works as the viewer can see her backpack and map, two of her classic sidekicks, which would not be easy to convey without seeing her from behind or the side. Dora has typically been presented as a leader, so it makes sense that she would be in front of the rest of the group and need to turn to address them, rather than uncharacteristically displaying herself to the viewer ala Tracer. Also her face is brightly lit while her back and legs are much darker, drawing attention away from them.
oh no my friends, thats not imagination, is actually reality.Yeah and that's a pretty bad casting choice, isn't Dora supposed to be a seven year old girl playing in her backyard and imagining talking monkeys and foxes and shit,
It's only the same so far as the camera is behind both characters, otherwise completely different. They are making no effort to show Dora's butt unlike Tracer
Would it be less weird if it was a little further down to the left?I find it kind of weird that an adolescent girls butt is in the near middle of the poster...
They aged her up to middle school later so this next logical step.Yeah and that's a pretty bad casting choice, isn't Dora supposed to be a seven year old girl playing in her backyard and imagining talking monkeys and foxes and shit,
Because child actors are stupid
She was in the latest Transformers (not Bumblebee), Michael Bay had the camera leering at her as he would any Megan Fox type. A little suspect.I find it kind of weird that an adolescent girls butt is in the near middle of the poster...

Glad I wasn't the only one getting those vibes from the first poster
