Nah. As long as people can manage to understand that Witcher 3 Geralt isn't the only version of Geralt. The "this is wrong, only 1 sword!" thing is already getting pretty old.
I actually like beards but I kept Geralt clean shaved, he looks better that way IMO.

Well but it'll be justified because the "game players" are gamers, and as someone who read the books, reading the gamer comments are ten times more annoying because they are super narrow minded.

There are people mentioning the sword on literally every page. It's really not. We all just need to agree that the show is doing its own thing and this isn't The Witcher 3 Video Game Netflix Show. No one is bragging about reading the books. Most are simply pointing out that Witcher 3 Geralt isn't the one that this Geralt is based on. If that's bragging about reading the books, then, okay?
99% of high fantasy involves British accents even if they aren't in Britain. I assume he'll speak with his normal voice -- I can't imagine they'll try and get them to do a Polish accent.

Yeah, that's reserved for the final season, no way they're gonna get all the way to the last novel in just one season, my guess is that the first couple of episodes are gonna be the most important short stories from "The Last Wish" and "Sword of Destiny" and that the last couple of episodes are gonna be an intro to the events of the first novel, after that, maybe each season is gonna be one to two novels, so around 4/5 seasons if they do it right, if it becomes a huge hit, watch them milk it to death.Like 7 when she first appears.

Credit where it's due probably shouldn't be aimed at Cavill then. He didn't do the make up, hair and costume. All he did was to show up.
Most book readers (like myself) are liking what they are seeing. Is only game players the ones that are having a problen with looks, beards and swords, and isntead of reading and informing themselves, time and time again they are hitting the same shit complaints like a wall from Takeshi's castle, and then falling into the mud just to hit the wall again.
