First impressions for Rian Johnson's KNIVES OUT

I will say, I do get suspicious if the trailers are too good. Watchmen and Prometheus were hard lessons.
Rian Johnson has yet to do anything even close to a bad movie, one of the best track records of a major director working today. I absolutely cannot wait.
I'm so glad I loved The Last Jedi.
Not liking that movie seems like an endless curse which must be such a burden to bear, considering how many people in this thread and elsewhere seem compelled to drag their baggage everywhere nearly two years later.

I mean it's not as great as some of his television episodes he has done. I'd say it's as good or better than Looper.
For context I didn't like Brick which was also a mystery.

Yeaahhh I remember RJ talking about it in the director commentary for Looper.
He's been talking about this idea since 2010. I wouldn't think it affected his focus on any project.

Um he already did with his freshman movie but glad to see the praise. This guy hasn't done a bad movie yet and twisty smart mystery is so his perfect oeuvre
