Well then PC gamers are counting on you all!Actually don't mind the water it looks like the cgi version.
Like I said even with the mod it's gonna take a little while to fix and improve every issue but I'm positive that with the remaster there will be renewed interest.
And we should be able to properly mod the characters at least.
So there's hope for the future.
Yeah was thinking so.You planning to play that first then since there is no achievements?
What's a good FAQ for manipulating card rules? And avoiding fucking them up?
The best way is by using the Refine abilities offered by Guardian Force. Each has their own specific ability and you gain them by selecting from the GF ablity list and making the GF learn it. They'll learn it by getting AP from battles. Once you do that you can access one of the big game breakers which is turning the item Tent into Curaga which you would equip to a characters HP stat.I've never fully understood the junction system, and I've heard that there are ways to really cheese the battle system early on to become really powerful and basically break the game. Any source or quick tips on how to do this?
The short answer is learn as many RF GF abilities as you can to get powerful magic while avoiding unnecessary leveling.I've never fully understood the junction system, and I've heard that there are ways to really cheese the battle system early on to become really powerful and basically break the game. Any source or quick tips on how to do this?
Oh yeah I'm gonna put these really quick tips here because I know it's gonna get asked so many times in this thread:
JUNCTIONING >>> LEVELING UP
Leveling up is largely useless as enemies scale with your level, avoid grinding combat and focus on Junctioning spells to increase stats. The differences are huge. Feel free to turn off encounters. Junctioning can let you build any character however you want, explore and learn the -J GF abilities to get even higher stats. If you learn Str-J from Ifrit and Junction strong magic to it, you'll have a physical attacker that's much stronger and faster than summoning GFs over and over.
GF ABILITIES >>> DRAWING
While it doesn't hurt to Draw, don't go out of your way to do it. Don't wait for draw points to restock or sit around drawing from enemies non-stop (except make sure to Draw from bosses as they might have new GFs for you). Instead learn the Refine (-RF) GF abilities to turn items/cards/magic into magic.
For an easy example, Draw Siren from early boss Elvoret. Learn her L Mag-RF ability. This will let you turn 1x Tent into 10x Curaga. Junction 100x Curaga to HP. Be amazed.
Recommended early abilities: Card, Card Mod, anything with -RF or -J.
TRIPLE TRIAD >>> EVERYTHING
Play against everyone. Cards are great for refining into Magic. If you want to get crazy with it, you can get Squall's best weapon very early in the game through cards. Not recommended for first timers though.
The stronger the spell the more effective it is for stats. Also the more of that spell you have the more effective it is.I've never fully understood the junction system, and I've heard that there are ways to really cheese the battle system early on to become really powerful and basically break the game. Any source or quick tips on how to do this?

The other thing is playing Triple Triad. All the cards can be turned into rare items and those rare items can be refined into spells. Some of the cards are given to you just for beating a boss.
Edit:
I have some images saved to showcase what I'm referring to just give me a sec to add.
Here is a visual guide. Sorry if it's kind of ugly since I just made it now with images I took before hahaThanks a lot, and to everyone else who responded.
Really hyped for this!!
lol I'm doing the same thingListening to SeeD and watching the timer go down really is quite fitting.
Just finished the intro while it blasted on my tv. MY GOD
Same. It's much better in motion than what the images look like. I find the models are so well focused that the backgrounds don't look as jarring.Man I actually love the way it looks, as someone who purposefully didn't watch any footage leading up to this. I can see how a lot of people might say the difference between the updated character models and the prerendered backgrounds is jarring, but I think the mix draws attention to the central characters in each scene while casting the rest of the background in a softer and more painterly relief. It's a unique look, barring visual settings on emulators.
Twice you've brought up the remaster label bothering you because it will sell more than IX. I already know you hate VIII so the only thing you're doing is complaining about VIII potentially selling better than IX in an OT for VIII.
