They could have announced it today.

Dragon Quest XI Definitive Edition launch on Switch September 2019 with a year exclusivity. The PS4 version was announced in July 2020 and released in December.

It will probably get a PC release but waiting for the April date to pass is nonsense as this stage.

Will I get my Dirge of Cerberus remake or remaster? I know we are getting Dirge story in the Ever Crisis game. I would love to experience Dirge on PS4/5 again now that Weiss is involved as well as Deepground.

You say that like the remake canon didn't stop being sacred a couple chapters in. Anything goes at this point.

So, if you have the PS4 game, it's a free upgrade to PS5 version, and then 20~$ to upgrade for the Yuffie DLC and the new stuff?

Maybe I'll just pick up a discounted ps4 disc now and see what I think of the game before going all in on the dlc.

Gonna pop in the disc just to get the free PS5 platinum but probably won't replay it till the FF7R part 2 is out (guessing 3+ years from now).

Oh snap, I was starting to feel like the only one that wanted a remaster/remake of DoC.

I'm surprised they're acknowledging any of it at this point.

I get the feeling its going to be closer to 15-20 despite my hope they would do and make it cheap for people like XV did but *shrug* I am a FF sheep, I will buy it anyways.

Yes you did. You immediately whined about VIIR not getting the backlash that XV got.

Yes Kingsglaive totally didn't hold the game back. That's totally not why it's basically the original intro taken out, that's totally not why the main story is so short and has almost no CG. Of course KG took resources from XV.

The funny part is they didn't even do a good job with communicating between teams considering the fact that Kingsglaive Luna= not an Oracle and cannot use magic (don't use that "oh the radio broadcast in Chapter 1 says Luna will be suspending her Oracle duties" excuse because lol)

In regards to VIIR I enjoyed it but to say it didn't get backlash (I remember those threads about its combat, which I enjoyed, and its story, which I also enjoyed) is kinda laughable. Was the backlash fair? Up to the person really. Funny how opinions work.

I knew I was right to be incredibly skeptical after the ending of Part 1 lmao. All the Yuffie stuff looks awful but it's Yuffie so I guess what can you expect.

Ah. TBF I had a hard time remembering what was in the original ending and what was added cause they integrated it into the game, which in the long run is a better decision.

Wonder how long till amazon sells out of the $30 copies of FF7R. (since it'll be cheaper to get the dlc that way and theres no way the dlc is more than $10-$20)
