Cyberpunk 2077 - APRIL 16
Man, I had the perfect plan for release. Even took the week off. Now it releases during a school holiday which means my kids will be at home. FML.
Really don't mind that the notion of it being delayed in general, but it does suck that it's right next to Cyberpunk 2077 now. Not ideal for someone who wants to play both.
Man I was going to get both Last of Us Part 2 and FF7:R a few days after my brithday.

I still don't have confidence that it will be released in a finished state after the debacle that was Final Fantasy XV. I might just wait a year or so after release until all the updates are out.
I'm less surprised by the delay than I am the fact that it's delayed beyond the end of their fiscal year. This is kind of a "fuck the shareholders, we care more about the product looking good" kind of delay.
This is my birthday, but Cyberpunk is a week later...I can wait, it's not the full game anyway.
Why exactly not? Will people use Final Fantasy XV as an example forever when we are talking about 2 completely different engines and teams? This is so annoying, even more after KH III releasing in a really well polished way.
Damn it! This is my most anticipated game, but also probably the first game that interests me this year...Guess I won't be purchasing a new game until April then. Gives me time to finish Death Stranding and maybe play Control I suppose.

Didn't realize the Cyberpunk/RE3 sandwich situation, almost wish they pushed it back to the end of April. Persona 5 Royal gonna be looong too, doubt many people will have finished it in 10 days or so.
For me personally though FFVII R takes precendence over all three of those

You still can? The Last of Us Part 2 isnt out until the 29th of May.
It seems more likely this is in response to Avengers needing a lot more time to get done. They moved it out of its fiscal quarter and FF7R replaced it at the start. Given the gap in their delays and the dual announcement I assume that's the case.
It really felt like that, I gotta say! It's a little weird when you have all these marketing items to promote March 3rd, especially Posters.
None of those games besides Animal crossing has the selling power that FF 7R, RE3, and Cyber Punk have.
yeah yeah let it bake and all that but that new date seems like a way worse time to release the game.

Yup. If anything I feel it's going to hurt sales of one of those titles. I think RE3 won't sell as well.
FF7 and Cyberpunk are huge games.
