This was a great WWC all around. Seeing the rest of the world continue to inch closer to the USA is really fun to see. The 2023 World Cup should be extremely competitive across the board.
They just won the world cup, lol. Why you salty?
Beat part of this? Trump keeps his fucking mouth shut for 5 minutes
If no one from the USWNT goes to the whitehouse Trump will instead invite Tom Brady over who will gladly accept the invite
That.. doesn't have anything to do with my point.
This is why the rest of the world hates US sports culture. No one is denying anyone the right to celebrate a fucking World Cup. That doesn't mean the criticism wasn't justified.

Looks like he really did have something going on to keep him from attending. He said he wants to go back and now may be his chance!

Yep. The standard of goalkeeping was as good as any major tournament I can recall - men or women's.Probably deserved GK MVP award, but many others could've won if they played longer. It has been a fantastic tournament for goalkeeping talent new and old
Not every thread or post on Era needs to be negative or full of pessimism...
The criticism about the Thailand game wasn't justified. The other thread has every goal scored and what the team did after. Watching all of them makes it clear the whole thing was over blown.
Anyway, England had the opportunity to beat this USA side. They played much better than this Dutch team and missed a penalty. You need luck in this type of tournament and USA had plenty of it. Maybe I need to go into coaching a woman soccer team so I can help bring an end to USA women's dominance in this sport.
5 shots, 1 on target. That Lavelle goal really was a thing of beauty.
How many shots did Netherlands have? I remember a few moments where they seemed threatening but Naeher didn't have to work very hard today.

Both France and the Netherlands did, really (in that game anyway)
Translation: I'm wrong and I lack the social skills to admit it.
If you watch the videos, it was.
You should actually watch the videos. Pick out the ones you think are unsportsmanlike and we can laugh.
Maybe if the English had a competent manager like the Dutch.
All of them after goal 7 or so. We can argue until the skies turn red, it's a cultural difference.

Nah, that's 100% pure bullshit. This is why the rest of the world hates US sports culture. No one is denying anyone the right to celebrate a fucking World Cup. That doesn't mean the criticism wasn't justified.
Must have really hated the celebrations today then, huh?No, I'm Dutch and I dislike celebrations of superiority were it's clear the opponent is way way way below your class.
It's not cultural. It's a willful disregard of the obvious by you.All of them after goal 7 or so. We can argue until the skies turn red, it's a cultural difference.

Come on now. This is 4 years of hard work for them. They kinda deserve the celebration. No, I'm Dutch and I dislike celebrations of superiority were it's clear the opponent is way way way below your class.
You're going to run out of room to hold these Ls, my dude. No, I'm Dutch and I dislike celebrations of superiority were it's clear the opponent is way way way below your class.
