They played Spain, China, and South Africa in group play, round of 16 Nigeria, they haven't been tested, Sweden had USA in their group, and played Canada in the round of 16...

You really shouldn't put your trust in Germany right now. DFB is a complete mess. U21-EM is a fluke.
