Eh honestly I wouldn't even say it's worth that much, just wait til it's given away for free. 5 and New Dawn were such disappointments.

It's also $11 on Steam

Would pay the extra $6 to avoid EGS if I didn't already own it on uPlay.

Edit: As far as the game itself, I liked it, but it went on a little long and had some pretty severe pacing issues. For the price, definitely worth it, but it's a game I left and came back to before I finished it because of the narrative issues. I thought New Dawn was a much better experience overall.

So I don't know if this is totally 100% for all ubi games but I've heard that ubi games on the epic store can actually straight up be launched with uplay/ubisoft connect or whatever its called without actually launching the epic store unlike with steam, so if you're not opposed to the epic store as a general rule due to the shit epic pull, it may be worth it to some people to check out ubisoft games while they can be gotten cheap as fuck if that does in fact work for every ubisoft game, I'm probably going to grab ac origins with the season pass for ÂŁ4.99 tomorrow so I'll test it then for myself.

It's a Far Cry game and has Far Cry game play. The story was pretty bad.

Far Cry Primal is pretty good though. Not the story, but it was unique enough that it was fun.

To each their own :). It thought Primal was a neat twist on the formula. I loved 3, I like 4 well enough.

Far Cry 5's twist is that it's in the U.S. I thought that the "dream/hallucination" stuff was pretty bad. I actually bought 5 for close to full price and never finished it.

FC5 is not worth it imho - the last decent FC was FC4. After that, not much changed. FC3 is the best ofc.

Put that coupon money somewhere else.

It can be fun as a co-op sandbox and looks pretty but FC5 isn't a particularly great game otherwise. All the hallucination stuff is just very forced as always in FC games and the enemy AI feels like the same I've already fought in countless times before. There is a skilltree with all the usual stuff, some over the top cutscenes that technically look well produced but are pretty forgettable in the end.

They could have said something with the story but decided to play it safe. Not all games need interesting or thought provoking story but otherwise FC5 is just a beautiful Ubisoft sandbox. If you know you like those $5 is a great price for the game.

If you buy it on the epic store, it will be available on Ubisoft launcher. No need to spend more money.

Worth noting you can play the entire single player campaign (after the intro island) in online co-op.

It's a great game if you're still in lockdown and want to play something non-competitive with friends or family.

Paid around that on PS4 and it is such a repetitive slog, killed only one of the 3 big bosses and played just a bit more then dropped it and never looked back. Id say it is worth it if you want some mindless open world shooter, but there is nothing special about it.

That is correct it adds all the games straight to the ubi connect so you can just use that.

5 has by far the best open-world design in the series. unfortunately the plot is terrible but i was much more motivated to check the boxes off on the map than in basically any other ubi game

Far Cry 5 and New Dawn is probably the most fun I had with a Far Cry title after Blood Dragon. Must be me but I really don't like all the "realistic" in Far Cry series, scavenging animations are lame, fall damage is lame, no fast travel is lame, dying out of a fire you set yourself lis lame, brown maps are lame, stuck weapons are lame, reapearing enemies are also lame (so yeah this basically negates, FC2 as fun for me though I actually finished it wich wasn't the case with Primal).

Farcry 5 was easily the best in the series. Visually it is miles ahead of 4, the open world was well designed and a joy to explore. Spent somewhere in the region of 90hours walking its rivers and valleys. Also you can fish, and it is well implemented. Worth full price and a steal at 4.99!

Excited by Farcry 6 later in the year, day one.

I had a lot of fun with this game. It's the only Ubisoft game in recent years that I really liked. Something about the setting and characters really grabbed me, the music was also stellar. Combat/shooting is obviously great as that's the meat of the game.

my least favourite by far. Worth a fiver ofc, but what game isn't at that price haha.
Hope 6 is a bit more unique and different.

I'm weird and love the spin offs far more than the main games. They seem to try far more interesting settings with those. The only reason I'm excited for FC6 is to see where the spin off is set a year later =P

Despite the sometimes irritating mission design and poor story writing, I found the game was an absolute blast and is a steal at $5. Fun open-world action romp.
