Famitsu gives Team Sonic Racing a 34/40

We all know review scores from Famitsu are completely useless, but it's still the first "review" of the game we've had. For comparison, Sonic Forces got a 35/40 and Mania a 32/40. It's stil far from GOAT nintendogs with a 40/40, so don't get too excited either.

I wouldn't call them useless, but I feel that some of them are misleading. Like the 30/40 rating for Sonic 06 (Xbox 360 version).

Not here it wouldn't. I'm not challenging whether there's cause for doubt in Famitsu, just very confident in how this place comes down on Sonic and bandwagons Crash.

Famitsu scores don't mean a whole lot but I'm hoping this game will be good. Transformed was one of the top 3 kart racers ever imho, but I'm having mixed feelings about this sequel of sorts.

Wasn't there a time in the 90's when Famitsu giving you a good review meant your game was basically God Tier? IIRC Mario 64 was the first game to get a perfect score from them, and the (UK at least) gaming media flipping out. I'm sure I didn't imagine that... what the hell happened?
