Our Gamecube game is basically an enhanced port of the N64 game, so it's not like they had a super secret extra game that we never got.

Or rather, they did, but that's Animal Forest e+ for the GCN, not Animal Forest for the N64

A perfect 40 from them used to be a monumental event, then around the Wii era they started coming like a flood, then there started being more and more questionable perfect or near-perfect scores for titles that realistically don't deserve it (such as Sonic Forces getting 35/40 while Sonic Mania got 32/40) - hence leading to the meme about anything less than a perfect 40 from Famitsu being a result of the cheque bouncing.
