I've always wanted a starfox game that kept the low poly aesthetic of the first game, but just with a super high resolution, high framerates and a massive draw distance - or basically just a starfox game without pop in.

This isn't quite that but it definitely looks good.

Different strokes, the gameplay is the weakest part in the video for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Title screen and mission briefing tracks gave me Battle Network vibes too.

I disagree. I love all of it. The presentation, music included in this small slice was amazing. Made me feel like I was firmly planted in the late SNES era once again.

Inspired is putting it mildly. This is basically a Starfox fan game.

I generally prefer indie games that are not quite as obvious with their influences.

Looks really good and I hope they can come up with lots of original ideas for the levels and bosses. The music, sfx and graphics look solid! And yes it is really close to Star Fox, but that's good, we need that in 4K on PC.
