Have a problem with your fellow Republicans? Hunt them down and shoot them of course. /sarcasm.

He's running for Senate after resigning in disgrace from the governorship after an non-consentual affair (and he was arrested for secretly photographing a naked woman).

THis is by far the most extreme, terroristic ad that I've ever seen in American politics.

But, here's the hook of it...

Greiten's comes out with an extreme, terroristic ad. Nobody other than "The RINOs" (Cheney, Romney, Kinzinger, handful of others in the GOP), along with Democrats, speak up to say that this is extreme. Greitens then says that "The Liberals, SOcialists, and RInos are trying to cancel him for speaking the truth and saving America, and here's how you can donate." And then Greiten's outraises every other Republican in the MO primary.

Greitens was also the guy who had to resign after numerous domestic abuse allegations and charges from his ex-wife and young child, and then also sexual assault/attempted rape/forced imprisonment allegations oif a woman he imprisoned in his house, sexually molested her, and then took photos of her to use against her as blackmail incase she reported this case to the police (she did).

Greiten's is currently leading MO senate primary polls:

There's no shock here.

The GOP is quickly becoming the party who wants a war so they can kill innocent people and call themselves heroes.

Why is he not in jail?
Why isn't Trump in jail? He's had similar allegations.

Looks like the DA decided not to charge him.

Like I welcome the inner political discussion we can have to past the time here but why I can't necessarily rock with the 'These are good people who vote GOP, the other parties just need to just sell their ideas better'.

They are fucking Nazi's guys, and would kill you and your family right now in broad daylight and go for lunch right afterwards. Like all of em. I can't get on the 'Well, if Krazen, if you can sell your basic personhood and humanity to these people, you will find out they aren't ghouls'. Only thing keeping them in check was avoiding the appearance of being fucking evil, and we've helped foster a space where terrible people can be terrible and have no blowback legally and socially.

it's so so SOOOO much worse than that. He kidnapped a woman, stripped her, tied her up, took photos to blackmail her and then forced her to perform oral sex on him.
Why is he not in jail?
because the system is broken working as intended...

it's so completely fucked i hate it here

The end of Democracy right here. All Republicans got to mention NAGA. Their lord I guess.

Usually these kinds of ads are in third world harden dictatorships but now we are getting them here. Everyone's life here in America will significantly change in the next few years.

Oh, but we can reach across the aisle with bipartisanship! Never mind them wanting to MURDER their own.

Wasn't he just a democrat? He wasn't even a RINO.

Also he's a sexual predator and monster. This is scary stuff.

This shows how much a GOP primary is all about appealing to the extremists. Greitens is actually not well liked among mainstream republicans in the state and clashed with members of his own party when he was governor. He thought he could weather his scandal as governor like Trump and get away with it, but the rest of the GOP in the state washed their hands of him when it started coming out.

National GOP strategists really don't want Greitens to win because they think he puts Missouri in play for the Democrats. I saw a quote somewhere to the effect of "the only way we [the GOP] lose Missouri is if Greitens wins the nomination".

baffles my mind how he can even run. Kidnapping someone and sexually assaulting them should ban you from ever running for any government position.

Why is this not a crime?

Because it's not inciting imminent lawless action. As opposed to "Let's go storm the Capitol right now!" It's a vile call for violence to be sure, but not imminent violence so thank your current interpreation of 1A. It probably also falls short as a threat, but that's probably a better argument. Again the threat is against an undefined group vs. a particular person or protected category.

Don't @me. I don't make the rules.

It seems to me to be a distinct threat, and there's no ambiguity about whom the target is.

I never want to hear about the overton window shifting left when a guy who had to resign for kidnapping and raping a woman is running for office making ads like this.

Not only is Twitter not banning him for this, btw, they're leaving the video up with a disclaimer that it violates the rules but 'may be in the public's best interest' to keep it up and gives you the option of viewing it.

How long until Republicans start killing rival candidates to improve their chances in elections? (And obviously nobody will stop or arrest them)
