I'm happy Spez is useful now. His damage shouldn't be dirt trash with the 30% ignore. But I'm sad that I only skilled up Lilibet a couple of weeks ago. Feels like a waste unless someone can think of a situation where Lilibet would be better?
Did it get delayed? Sounds like it's canceled... Even more upsetting...

Water Heroes meta dominating is probably the reason they don't wanna touch her yet.

It works on arena def too. He's similar to a coli, but he can shut soul cleave teams down.
The soul removal happens even if it misses. And it can't be resisted.

Spez buffs sound great, I might 6* him and give him a whirl. More chances to stun and 30% damage penetration regardless.
What are some possible team comps? Basar to open G Purrgis S3 into Spez to wipe out the main threat on a zombie team?

Just realised the use of having both Spez and Lilibet. I was complaining that only having one extinction unit in the game is annoying when comps have Ruele on round 1 and Vildred or Maid in round 2. Well now that's solved for me lol (unless they have fire units on both). EpicEra our power continues to grow.
Spez looks great and I just got him. Nice.
Tenebria buffs look stupid good.
They seem to like adding Decrease Def to S1 skills. They did it to Luluca, which made sense since her S3 is decrease Def as well. But then they added it to Serila which didnt make sense and now Assassin Cid.
Seems lazy. The rest of his kit sounds neat though.

Yeah, I'm glad people who pulled Spez can now try him out.
I agree that it's a bit slapdash, but it's probably a good thing because it lets you build more team comps without worrying about having no defense breaker.
It's a side effect of def break being way too good. It should never have been tuned to be so strong.
CDom, Aux lots, Jkise and a speed imprint person like Cidd, WShuri, Shuri for clean up
Game looks like a blurry mess. Do you like pressing the attack button constantly. The blurry chars on a cg back ground was really unpleasant.
You're right. Macro botting W11 every day for months is much more fun~
You actually don't need to press the attack button. Just the skills, but its fun when you get to manually move the characters and use the combos. Agreed with the visual aspect. I'd take E7 over any gacha game in that aspect.
I thought they were going to remove Soulburn in RTA but after seeing ML Cidds buff... don't think so now.
Don't know why people are saying Lilibet is obsolete now, like you can just pull a ML Sez out of your ass or something.... I have 6 of 13 ML Nat 5s (5 while F2P since GG collab ended) and unless he shows up on Mystic rotations I'll doubt I'll ever get him. I'm not expecting him to show up soon since he was the first Mystic ML Nat 5..... also next ML nat 5 rerun should be dark (Avil or ML Ken) since J.Kise was light.....
Anyway ML Sez being amazing doesn't mean Lilibet stops working, it's not like the Judge Kise and Sez situtation..... I'm still very tight on getting a dupe Destina instead of Lilibet when she came out....
Also pretty cool to see Hurado become meta again in the last week, our gawd his shifted up and down so many times over the last year lol.
Seems the top global teams are starting to switch out Basar defense for Hurado.
Asia still more Basar focused though in the top 20 three different people are running Hurado / AVild / ML Ken / Lilias.
ML Cidd is going to be a pain in the ass on defense as well as RTA, second highest base speed and the Basar + Tywin/ML Zerato comp is already very soul heavy.
Do you have a good rage set? You can probably avoid even going the stun route with ML Sez now if you pair Rage with his innate 30% defense pen.
Very similar buff to what Ludwig received a few months ago, YDCB the streamer has used Ludwig a lot over the last year and every team had an invincibility buffer (C.Armin or Blaze Dingo) paired with Tywin to max his damage. After the last couple of months he just uses Ludwig on Rage combined with Basar's guaranteed buff, a defense break as well as Ludwigs innate def pen to cleave everything now.

Might have to run Oath Key over Portrait/RnL though.

I do but it is on Luna for Wyvern, Raiding, and Trials. I really should farm up more, I feel like it's better than attack sets for cleavers since in a Basar comp everyone is always debuffed. That or put Luna back on a destruction set or something.
I have Tywin and ML Zerato but my two issues with them are 1) only a 75% break chance which adds variability to Champion arena matches which isn't a good thing and 2) Basar S3 -> AoE Def Break gives Seallona an attack and if I go J.Kise she'll attack again on J.Kise S2 which could kill her (with a F.Ceci counter) before she gets her S3 off to cooldown tanky revivers. Spez would be wiping folks with extinction so maybe it wouldn't matter but an Elbris F.Ceci if he's defense broken could be a problem and that is super common comp with SSB.
So in the end I go with Vivian which provides immunity from being provoked or defense broken and she is a pretty powerful clean-up herself.
I really just need better gear if I want to compete in Champion III, I'm way over extending.
Edit: How are people building Hurado? What speed range? Immunity set?
Well, damn. I'm gonna have to somehow pull max speed gear out of my ass because Assassin Cidd is 100% going to be one of the strongest options on defense I have. Not only does he provide a sweet combo breaking solution to speed cleave soulburn teams, but he gets a self-evasion buff too? That's actually more generous than the idea I had for him... With a maxed out Violet's Talisman he can have 80%(!!) evasion after three turns, and considering he's basically going to be the fastest character in the game (Kayron doesn't count because no one builds him for speed) that is actually quite doable and hugely significant.
It's time for me to RNG meme my way to victory.
That said, Spez buff seems overdone (if he gets 45% stun rate on S2 wtf is Charlotte still stuck on 35%?). Extinction alone would've been a huge buff but the 30% innate pen on top of that just makes him crazy. With the right gear he stands a very good chance of extincting anyone before they can move, just like LIlibet, even without a stun.
Dominiel buff was more underwhelming than I imagined. I can see her being of use against teams with no immunity but otherwise she's just a stun bot for Spez. Her S2 in particular is still really meh (at least compared to Luluca's, whose defense buff is super-impactful on its own). I hope that the next batch includes all of Kise, Haste, Charlotte, and Apocalypse Ravi. Fingers crossed...

Yeah, I was thinking of you when I read the A. Cidd buffs. He went from useless to competent in both regular PVP and probably the upcoming RTA (due to the Soul steals). I'm not a big fan of everyone getting handed Def Break abilities like Halloween candy because that debuff is so overpowered, but I guess it makes sense for him.
ML Zerato was the big surprise for me and I'm in the same boat of probably having to build him, even though I'm not fond of his super-edgy design. With his debuff transfer, health regen, and def buff he's almost become like a mini-Corvus. I imagine his health regen will be nowhere near what Corvus has though. ML Zerato seems a fantastic counter to Dizzy and SSB teams though.
Mirsa is not being talked about, but her base evasion got bumped to 50%, and then she gets a 50% buff on top of that. She will be incredibly annoying to fight against.
Yes sir! Leave those pesky revive and ML Ken teams to me.
Just in case my initial post was misconstrued, it's not that I think Lilibet is now bad, it's just the fact that Spez is neutral on everyone and has better stats, so for my account I initially felt like there was no reason to gear Lilibet over Spez. I still think she's a great hero though after her buffs, and having any extinction hero is great.
Just to clear up Alkez my mini rant in regards to Ml Sez and Lilibet wasn't really directed at you, just the general reaction I've seen.... especially on reddit and twitch.
Tywin never misses, his defense break goes up to 100% when fully molo'd, well worth the investment.
Tywin 100%, soul burn into s2.

Fire tenebria 85%, hardest hitting and can soulburn into extra damage, comes with 75% sleep

How is your defense holding up in Champ? I've @ 19.4% so far this week myself, kinda want to sub in my Charles since I lucksacked in his new Exclusive gear first... 14% attack with extra Smash prof on first attempt.....

My defense is at 9% but that's skewed because I'm just revenge cycling with 5 or so people. Before I started that it was around 15%. The problem is I'm attacked a lot, I think I surprise a lot people occasionally but the volume of losses amounts to like 100 points a day. So I basically just plan on revenging everyone until the last day.
Ah forgot that about Tywin. Maybe I will build him up.

I have so many stamina pots atm. Need to grind out resources for Luna so guess I'll use them on that. Spez is almost ready, just need 5 big light gems now.

Building mine up also, actually spent around 150 bookmarks specifically to get her. Not blowing my equipped gear for her so she got garbage on right now

I like that she just looks different from all the other girls in the game, I doubt she will be anything more than a farmer and hunts, one content creator is convinced she is a better speed farmer than Vildred

I had completely forgotten about her and the last weeks/months ive been obsessed with getting 4* or 5* ML units.
Looking forward to trying out that Iseria-Tama Combo now and having to not completely depend on Tywin all the time.
Next free-equip ill try to work out something a bit more competitive for that mode.

Sry, i read that message just now but already had my fights.....as in just choosing random foes, getting speed cockblocked and lost all 3 of my battles. Thankfully we still won - but as of now i dont really have a solid GW setup, so you probably dont wanna depend on me in any case.

Shes a jacked punch girl. Her kit is neat but nothing I needed. Just needed those muscles.
Everytime they do balance updates they will have a equip event, I think they confirmed it will be the last patch day of each month moving forward regardless anyway.
I feel like everytime I get gear with great stats it's on the wrong set. Like I got Crit damage, crit chance and attack on a piece earlier. Hit set...
Mannn it sucks! I really want just one Speed set with Speed lol! I'd be fine with 1 lol.
There's probably a slot in EpicReset available too. I think EpicEra is a bit more casual than us, not sure what you're looking for.

Currently not at home so sorry for the quick answer, but I'm looking into Guild War / optimizing as much as possible for it. If there's a Discord I'll probably drop by and screenshot what I currently got.
I'm not sure what counts as casual, but EpicEra is active in guild wars and communicates their attacks. We work out which tower to focus on, and people try to report what speeds and strategies they run into.
It's casual in that all we want is for you to at least try your attacks each GW. It's fine if you lose, or if you don't have anything to say about whoever you attacked. As long as you play the game regularly and get progress on your gear and units, you're fine. Chat is very chill. I've never seen anyone yell at each other for anything.
We've definitely grown stronger over the past few months. We're winning GWs at a decent rate, though the last few have been close, and we all seem to be getting more comfortable with our attacks.
That's the Era discord for E7, mostly filled with EpicReset and Kusoge people. Not sure if any EpicEra people still hang out there.
EpicReset is typically in the top 300-500 in GW. We've had a couple of our stronger members go idle or quit recently so we're looking to refill the ranks. We're not esports about it but we definitely put in time and expect everyone who is placed in GW to do their attacks.
Ah Chopchop I didn't mean any slight by saying EpicEra was more casual; that was just the impression I got a few months ago. Glad to hear the guild is still doing well!
