Bows got no love this time around. It seems like the regular-ass longbow is the best bow for dex builds.
I found a nice magic long bow in SR. Wish I could use it. No idea how it stacks up though. Skill is Might Shot.

The NPC you fight change everytime, and I was getting a ton of zoners spamming bow shots and magic sword slashesSpoiler about the fight
What rng exists for that fight? I did it first try so did I get lucky or something?
That's a guard counter. Happens with all my weapons directly after a block.
Many "early" game bosses just so happen to be close to the starting area. Getting any upgrades will help immensely at that point in the game. Thankfully this game really let's you head out and power up before taking them on.Is it me, or do early game bosses feel like they take forever to beat unless you heavily invest in damage upgrades? There has been a point with multiple bosses where I felt like I well understood the timings, but I struggled finishing them off before I ran out of healing due to execution errors.
I have a +3 weapon, and this has been true forCrucible Knight, Ulcerated tree, and especially Margit.

Hm, and what exactly is being done at the end of this video?
It seems it's a weapon skill rather than something generic? I never dual wield so I'm quite at a loss here. I just want to know how I can block like that with a sword.
Yeah I always hated NPC bosses but this game might have the worst because of RNG
Just looks like he broke their poise and not an actual block/parry.

So, Str/Dex only as much as you need to use it and then everything else into Int?It'll still be good but putting points into intelligence really makes it shine.

Yes. That's exactly how I built my character and I gotta say, that weapon is ridiculous throughout the rest of the game. It absolutely made things a lot easier for me.So, Str/Dex only as much as you need to use it and then everything else into Int?

I think you need to fight the capitol boss, but they're not hard.Is there any way to get to the Mountaintop of the Giants early on? Trying to grab a few spells and talismans from that area. I've already beaten Radahn, Rennala and Godrick. Also, I somehow got teleported to the Capital and have a Grace checkpoint there.
Where can we get a shield with 100% damage reduction easily and quickly?

God, they are the worst they have ever beenI'm convinced someone in From hates dogs and wants everyone else to hate them too...
Damn, I need to try this. From what I am reading it's super OP though. I don't need to make the game easier, I just want to change things up a bit since I am tired of using the Longsword.Yes. Dumb question probably, but I haven't had tons of time to follow news on this game. As I understand, there's 4 player coop? Now how would it work if I had buddies jump in and out as I progress? Basically I have me and one buddy dedicated to play consistently and two friends that might play a couple time a week. Can players easily jump in and out or should it be played with the same group from beginning to end? Thanks in advance !
