In the Consecrated Snowfield, there's a caravan being guarded by a mob including a 2v1 Night's Calvary situation. Killing them both is an automatic armor set drop.
Lol of course I'll have to box with God to get it.

I just got my INT up to 16 late last night so I can wield the Ruins Greatsword, really excited to get off work to see what kind of mayhem it can do. Before I had the INT I couldn't do the skill, but just seeing the charded attack shatter the earth had me thinking they beamed one of my favorite hammers from The Surge 2 into the game.
I'm ready to conquer the world with this thing in hand.
Nothing better than getting your stats up to a level to appropriate handle a weapon. It's like unlocking an entirely different game. I bounced around with larval tears for a few weapons and each time, the combat changed in wholly different ways.

Right?! I said exactly the same thing when I watched this video for the first time like 2 days ago. There's a huge area under there I had no clue even existed.
Mannn, I still say it, a Bluepoint remake of Elden Ring is my most anticipated. This games vision, atmosphere and style with an actual lighting system, reactive materials, environmental depth would be pretty incredible.

i also love the basic combo of the standard knight's set (from the Roundtable Hold), blue-gold kite shield, and any subdued looking weapon (eg a bog standard straight sword, a mace, the regular flail, etc). think i'll make a faith char around that. wish there were more sets like this that have a kind of laid back, classic high fantasy aesthetic.

I started (and nearly finished) yet another run: this time with power-stanced Noble's Slender Swords. And I can't help but love a lot of the knight-ish armor sets. And thankfully we can remove the capes, which I usually do not enjoy staring at from behind. Crucible and Tree Sentinel sets are just sublime.

I've started NG+ and when running about am rocking my old favourite of Banished Night helm (there's nothing better in the game than that helm and scarf combo. NOTHING. Literally. Nothing.) and armour (modified), along with <YOU KNOW WHOSE> black gauntlets and legs. Looks ace.
