Fuck that sucks.
19 was really fun and made huge strides.
Hopefully they can move the engine to Frostbite and be ready for next gen launch.

I think EA really needs to bite the bullet and do a NBA Live Next-Gen with a AAA development schedule.

Seems to me that the decision to build everything on Frostbite has done much more harm than good for EA.
EA was not doing that by releasing the games, so not releasing this one isn't going to make much of a difference. The entire series needs a rethink and new approach for next gen, because even with microtransaction situation becoming literal gambling hell for 2K, their brand is nigh-invulnerable in the eyes of the public. This war was lost even before they set foot on the battlefield.

Live 10 is still the best b-ball game ever made and Live 19 was a lot more fun than people give it credit for.
Too many people remember the Elite bug video and just roll with that because it's the cool thing to do.

This is too bad. I actually grabbed it when it was SUPER cheap a few months back and it's actually a tight, responsive, really fun basketball game. Where 2k has turned into this unresponsive, canned-animation-fest...

EA should focus on bringing back NCAA March Madness now that they can pay for player likenesses and use their NBA license to bring back NBA Street because 2K now owns the NBA sim space.
Man these guys are so incompetent, the community is ready for a 2K competitor.
I know i'm part of the problem buying it every year but if you love the NBA and basketball games there is just no competition...
