Got one today, paired it with my PC and set up as a custom controller on Steam. Works perfectly except there's no rumble support. I don't mean the special haptics, just basic rumble. Guess we're not getting that until drivers/Steam support/DS5Windows?

So those using it on your PC, are you pairing with Bluetooth or is it only working plugged directly in? I want to get one as my PC controller but I don't want to hardwire it if I don't have to.

Got mine today, hooked it up my pc through usb, mirrored my audio through VoiceMeeter Banana and got haptics running.

Works pretty well overall aside from feeling nearly all audio(music, sound effects, interface sounds) which is a little odd. The fidelity on the haptic drivers/coils is pretty neat. In Monster Hunter World I could feel the harp strings of the personal quarters music. The Dual Sense has a bigger range than my buttkicker(tactile tranducer, 2-200hz range) works from low bass well into the mid-range and even a bit higher up. This thing is pretty damn cool.

Death Stranding needs a dual sense patch At launch , Kojima would probably have best implemation

I remain convinced the truly killer application of the controller would come from Bungie if they did something with it for Destiny. Every exotic weapon having its own unique feel would be nuts.

Has there been any info or rumors about potential Dual Sense support in Windows? Maybe some kind of DS5Windows or something?

reWASD is going to get support, as well as Steam Input. It's a major platform controller, there will be support. If you mean for the adaptive triggers, no idea. DS5Windows may even happen, very likely.

Yeah, I'm sure that at some point it's really just up to the devs to actually support the triggers on PC, nothing a third party software can really do if the hooks are not in the game.

I really wish Sony would just release official drivers and take a go at the PC Controller market... It's dumb, those drivers exists to use with the devkits so they would just need some polishing to release them to the public... The PC controller marker is 100% in MS' court (with a great controller) but that would be some easy money for Sony to do it.

Has anyone tried to put control stick attachments (you know, like those Kontrol Freek things) on the sticks to see if they fit? I've heard the sticks are extremely similar to DS4 but don't know if they're exactly the same.

Man, i love the way this controller looks and feels so much!

I played a little Castle in the Darkness on Steam last night with it, and the d-pad feels great. That was one of the things I was a teensy bit concerned about, but it's so close to the DS4, that I really shouldn't have been worried.

I'm sad I can't use it on my PS4, but not terribly so. The wait is almost over, and I'll be playing my PS4 library with it soon enough. It's a damn comfortable controller though. I'm in love with it already.

I have no sense of fashion, but how would it look if the black piece/overalls (which is easily removable) was replaced with a similar white version as the rest of the controller? With the sticks having the light grey color, similar to symbols on the face bottons.
It would look fatter. The black portion makes the white portion look slimmer, giving it a similar outline to the original PS1 pad.

Nice, using the Xbox360 program and it works like a charm without having to go through Steam.

I've actually heard the DualSense haptic feedback is more subtle than traditional rumble while also being more detailed. Like a properly calibrated surround sound system or 3D audio headset instead of a really bassy speaker that tries to make up for lesser audio quality by being really loud, but tactile instead of aural.

You could remote play to a laptop and just watch the TV. If you wanted to try it on ps4

Ooh, this makes me eager to see what Infinity Ward will do with weapons in the next Modern Warfare, considering the original was basically gun porn. I would assume they'll take advantage of the DualSense due to their relationship with Sony.
