No, I meant that Nintendo console owners aren't used to getting a game and then no more than a year later the other systems get a port with significant upgrades, including basic stuff that should have been in the original release - and with no compensation either.
It's like when people bought MvC3 and then 8 months later Capcom released UMvC3. That's the same kind of fuckery as the way DQ fans have been treated with this game's releases. If you bought it on PS4, you're stuck with a soundtrack that sounds worse than some PS1 music (and I'm not exaggerating here) because they couldn't be bothered to negotiate with the dickhead of a composer to include proper orchestral versions... but somehow when it comes to this port they went all out and made the effort?
Oh ok, like that, i understand.
Yes. Wanting or not, you're doing exactly that.
I should have been more precise in my previous post and said "supporting the views" instead of just "supporting". Its true that buying something will give some type of indirectly economic support, but that doesnt mean that one is supporting the views of everyone whos behind a product of course.
The reason why i was wondering if thats what you guys was saying, it was because i was wondering if there was more to the point. I think i understand what your point is, that its silly to boycot the game for such a reason and not boycot it earlier because of Sugiyama's views instead, right? If so, i can see that, but i was just wondering if there were more to the point. It seems to me that you were trying to shame that one guy for supporting the game earlier because he didnt want to boycot the game for a different reason, so why not quote all the other people in this thread who are saying they're going to buy/support this game as well? Dont you think its better to boycot the game for the "wrong" reason instead of supporting it at all in that case?
I agree that it seems kinda excessive to boycot a whole game serie just because of a different sound track, but i think this is a point that can be on its own regardless of Sugiyama's views.
