you will regret your words and deedsI can't stand Veronica. I put her in the piglet outfit so I can laugh at her until I can remove her from my party.

You gotta redeem the DLC in-game under system settings.Huh? There's only one downloadable DLC pack when you buy it for the switch and I got that. It was free
I don't have any pieces of attire to put on in my inventory with a little shine sprite to indicate it alters your appearance. What are the pieces of attire called?
Puff puff was first introduced in Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama. Thanks! I didn't really bother to ever go into the settings. Changed the music volume settings since it over powers character dialogue at times.
Second question.
What in the hell is a Puff-puff? Is it something you smoke? Is it ever explained?I'm so confusedI thought this girl in Gallopolis was a prostitute at first.
This doesn't actually explain what Puff-Puff is, lolPuff puff was first introduced in Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama.

It does. Read my second link.
Oh sorry dude, overlooked that
No problem :)
Can't you change the battle speed ?The past Dragon Quest stuff would be such a delight if not for the excruciatingly slow 2D battles, especially when you're dealing with AoE stuff that affects every enemy/party member.
Nah, it's still a delight. But man.

I started playing from where the demo left off and I haven't stopped smiling. This is just incredible. The Switch has become one of the best systems I've ever owned.
people who are getting crashes, have you downloaded the day 1 patch?
I'm a tad confused on the transition from 3d to 2d. Is there new stuff to find through exploration in 2D, if I've already done the area in 3D?
I think 2D and 3D are treated like different save paths, so you have to be careful.I'm a tad confused on the transition from 3d to 2d. Is there new stuff to find through exploration in 2D, if I've already done the area in 3D?
ArtePiazza was the developer of the DQ 4-5-6 remakes for the DS, and 7 for the 3DS.

Parental Question:
My 7 year old daughter loves Pokemon, and is playing through the demo right now.
I haven't played ahead of her to know what this game's story is about: Is this game appropriate for a 7 year old?
What is the deal with the transparent doughy looking guys that pop up here and there?
Nothing so explicit that a 7 year old would catch onto. Most i can think of is some of Jade's special moves, and some death/slavery related things, but nothing extreme.Parental Question:

Put a bit of time in. Rule I'm following this time is to not really try to get into any battles until the first dungeon, I wasted so much time doing that before and it really isn't necessary.
One new (?) thing I love is that not only is it just as addictive filling in all the shiny spots lists, but now we have monster lists per region to fill out too. Yay.
If they are going to do a warning when selecting JP VA, they might as well do find/replace and give us the proper names depending on which language track we pick. Or make everyone editable.
Lastly, when collecting some resources that used to drop multiple things (trees, tall grass, minerals) did it used to pick up all of them automatically for you? Seems new.
I'm going into this blind and it's my first DQ game. Is there anything I should know before I start playing?

Unless you pick any of the Draconian settings like harder monsters or such, the game is balanced around you doing a bare minimum of fights, like, maybe fight each new enemy you encounter 2-3 times and leave it at that. Otherwise you'll overlevel fast. Helps with the game's pacing too.I'm going into this blind and it's my first DQ game. Is there anything I should know before I start playing?
Tell me about it. This game is just incredibly charming the more I progress.I started playing from where the demo left off and I haven't stopped smiling. This is just incredible. The Switch has become one of the best systems I've ever owned.
If i sell a piece of Armour that unlocked an outfit for a character, will i lose said outfit option again?
Hmm, I sold the starting gear for Erik, Veronica and Serena, plus that Soldier's Sword from the prison. Hopefully they're not really needed for anything.Yes because the outfit is tied to wearing the piece of equipment.
Considering you can upgrade equipment and later on the high end upgrades can and will use old equipment as part of the recipe, I recommend not selling anything.
Some of the DLC gear can for example be upgraded to high level end-game variants with greatly increased stats.
The bolded isnt right for the Switch version, Outfits are usable independent from the equipped Gear.Yes because the outfit is tied to wearing the piece of equipment.

There's also a monster bestiary in the options menu that fills out as you fight new enemies and even shows how many enemies you're missing in the area, so it's fun to fight everything to fill that outI'm at the desert kingdom, en route to the Slayer of the Sands. I'm most impressed by how well-paced this game is:
- It's usually clear where to go next, but you are still free to explore each area, so adventuring is a joy and not a burden
- Most areas are bounded by thoughtful invisible walls to prevent you from going astray (i.e. you won't fall off cliffs)
- Even the largest areas don't take long to run around, so it's easy to find treasure chests and sparkly items
I find the difficulty on point too, especially once battles starting getting more complex with four people in your party.
Basically, each time I enter a new area, I fight each new enemy type once or twice. So far, I'm not over-leveled this way. And I'd say it's worth checking out each new enemy type, since their designs and animations are top-notch.
