If you look at streamer stats, when they aren't streaming they aren't getting subs. When you're gone and a viewers prime sub comes available they give their precious once a month free sub to someone else and now you have to earn that person back the next month after thry have given it to another.
He's prob going to make back whatever he lost on his comeback stream. Punishing streamers by banning them really only works if they don't have a fanbase already.
Why does he need to apologize to anyone other than the kid who got caught on camera?

I don't know who Keith Lemon is but Colbert was doing it to mock conservatives, what is the purpose of Doc's character? Besides making him lots of money. Why are you acting like the character and the person aren't the same thing and don't have the same values? It's so bizarre to me to have this defense, it really is.

It's pretty shitty to compare his wife allowing him to come back into her life to Twitch's lax punishments. We have no idea why she agreed to stay with him and to speculate on it seems highly inappropriate.

Even if the minor wouldnt be in the bathroom, filming other people in a really private situation like peeing as a prank, violating their personal rights.

Twitch will only ban the biggest earners permanently after several transgressions. This is known since a long while. He would have to do something truly heinous like streaming child porn to get offed immediately.
Sad reality, but it obviously makes sense for Twitch. Even Narcissa, with a much smaller audience at the end, survived 4 individual bans for streaming pirated films, sleeping on stream for 10 hours, running around naked, being intoxicated and stoned and streaming porn before being permanently banned.

Well then now I wonder why the cameraman got fired if it was the Docs idea... seems pretty wack he only got two weeks for that then.
This has been amazing to observe since it seems people in this thread invented scenarios where-in he'd be permabanned, sued, and thrown in jail and are now upset things haven't proceeded as such. But at no point, to my knowledge, was there ever an actual indication that police were involved or that anyone was filing charges.

Personally, i like DrDisrespect in the same way i like Eric Cartman, POS characters with questionable opinions, but both funny in the context they are presented. However, filming on a public bathroom is not only wrong, but also illegal, so i think a longer ban should have been applied.

This may be shocking to you, but a character is not a distinct, separate person. If I put on a wig and call myself Gentleman Jerk, that doesn't mean Billfisto is not responsible for Gentleman Jerk's actions. Nobody else is writing his words. All the things that Dr. Disrespect says or does are solely coming from the mind of Guy Beahm. If Dr. Disrespect says something racist, or films a bathroom, it's because Guy Beahm in a wig did so.
Also, props at legitimately dropping "he can't be racist, he has a mixed race wife and daughter." Hope you got a good deal on that "Defending Rscists" Starter Pack.
It's weird, if I see someone I find mildly funny once or twice with no further context, I don't go out of my way to defend them if someone sufficiently outlines why they're problematic. In most cases I just think to myself "oh well, I barely have any attachment to them, I'll just avoid their content in the future."

He wears a wig and headphones even at conventions, then one day he came on Twitch without this outfit and cried about cheating on his wife, went dark and then came back a few weeks later with the same wig and outfit. I mean... if that doesn't tell you what's up I don't know what will. But people seem to love him so who am I to say what's crazy or not...
This is the last straw for me. He shouldn't be allowed back on the platform, but he makes money, same with the others like him, and thats all that matters to Twitch as a company. Disabling my account and no longer using it.
I think you stans are far worse. I also really don't understand how any of his garbage is funny to anyone above 15. It seems like it's just fart jokes and shitty "totally not racist" accents.

We rarely, if ever, do that (re: Etika). DrDisrespect, however, is a terrible personality who shows no remorse for his actions. He's like the Louis CK of Twitch streaming; he thinks by digging himself in deeper, he is somehow being funny, contrarian, and subverting expectations. In reality, it just makes him look like a genuinely unlikable asshole.
