The game has built in dynamic resolution scaler I believe, that will work wonderfully unless it needs to drop from 1440p native all the way down to 720p which is too big of a gap and will cause stuttering. With free style sharpening and world class TAA image quality should hold up.Hmm I wonder if I can run 1440p 60fps at Ultra Nightmare settings on my 3700x, RTX 2060 Super and 16GB ram. Probably dial the resolution down a notch
I'm torn about picking this up for my PS4 Pro or Ryzen 2600 @ 4.1Ghz, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB ram..
I get tingles when I see that. lol I want one soooo bad!Ready for HDR 4k/60 FPS. I am hoping for some great HDR support to take advantage for my Predator x27.
Going from a TN panel to that monitor was a mind blowing experience. The price have went down a lot since launch though.
Yeah, I'm using a 1440p Predator XB271HU, and I love it. I just want to get that 4k, HDR1000! lolGoing from a TN panel to that monitor was a mind blowing experience. The price have went down a lot since launch though.
A 970 has almost twice the FLOPS than a 1050 Ti.Thought 1050Ti and 1650 are at least of equivalent power as 970, so that's interesting. Happy to hear that it's not as bad with it as it seemed.
Ironically, while I thought it'll be the GPU that will be out-of-date first, it's the CPU that's holding me down. Probably will move to Ryzen before a new graphics card.
Huh, that's surprising. Thanks for the info.

I think it all depends on Vram usage. Id tech games tend to be Vram hungry, but only time will tell.I could run DOOM at Ultra (but not Nightmare) on my 970, 3770k. I'm pretty confident I can run this, particularly with Vulkan - they said the code was more efficient anyway. I know the min spec is 970, but I'm betting med-high.
Yeah this is the last big release my 1060 will have to endure - it'll get put out to pasture before Cyberpunk hits.

It's a bit on par or very close to 1060 6GB.

Lol at the "medium textures on 970 only" disclaimer. 3.5 GB VRAM still rearing its head in 2020.
Can't believe Nvidia tried to pull that, even now.
2080 here also, with dynamic res on should solves all performance issue in 4k to make sure frame rate is locked 60fps. You can probably dsr 4k down to 1080p.I do meet the ultra-nightmare requirements but I do have a regular 2080. However, I'm playing this at 1920x1200 @ 60fps so I should be fine maxing this out!
