I hope stuff like this keeps Trump up all night and he doesnt get any sleep and it just makes him so angry that it fucks with his blood pressure and overall health and whatnot.

Not really. Trump has pretty much said that the law doesn't apply to him; in a constitutional or legal sense that's obviously bollocks, but in a practical sense he's absolutely right. As long as the Rebublicans hold the senate, he is above the law.

If the Republicans have any intention of remaining a relevant party for the forseeable future they would throw Trump under the bus once Mueller lays all the evidence out in the open. It's impossible for them to remain a relevant party with only Trump's 30% base.

Seriously. Infinity, go listen to Season 1 of the Slow Burn podcast. You'll see that they weren't united...until they were. Every indication that a bombshell will come out and be a uniting event, as far as I'm concerned.

It's also impossible for them to remain relevant if that 30% gets mad at them and splits away. The situation with the Republicans is that there might well be 'moderates' who would rather Trump wasn't in power, but they'll never break away because they know that will mean alienating half their base and letting the Democrats take power.
GOP senate members won't do the right thing because it's the right thing. They are cowards and will do it out of self preservation. When the water comes to a full boil you'll see a scramble over who can jump out and slam the lid on the pot the fastest. Don't think many will want to be served for dinner as a side-dish with Trump.
