Does anyone actually like those green, smooth-skinned avocados? All of the ones I ever tried were trash. Odd sweet taste and none of the buttery goodness.Indeed.

We make a smoothie out of them in Brazil with milk, sugar, and a dash of lime. It's delicious.

That has an easy lookup to find the answer. The only reason people saw different things was how their eyes' colour spectrum works.
I'm beginning to suspect this was a marketing ploy for Big Avocado, because I've never bought an avocado before in my life, but I ended up getting a couple with my groceries this past weekend and I can't think of any other explanation as to why.

The smeared pulp (is that the right word?) on the right of what I maintain is the seed indicates "Seed." The illusion of "No Seed" is just the angle of the light.

There's clearly a raised brown mark at the bottom of the pit. Roots will grow from that brown spot.
