Can developers still... develop at home as effectively as they do at work? I'm thinking it would slow production significantly.
Indeed.
I think PS5 / XSX supplies will be extremely limited, if they still launch this holiday at all, which is a very big IF at this point.
ClassicNo. In a few month people will have forgotten about corona virus and that's it.
Not gonna blame them tbh. This shit escalated beyond what most of us thought.
It has killed less than 400 people so far. It's negligible compared to the death toll of the seasonal influenza. This is not the big one.
Who else are you going to blame? There were plenty of other posters in this thread that didn't choose to show their own ass.

Oh please, you just had to look at what was going on in China. Not gonna blame them tbh. This shit escalated beyond what most of us thought.
That value can spike very easily depending on containment levels. If the health care system can't keep up, it will be significantly higher because people who would've survived won't get the necessary treatment. Even more disturbing is that it leads to any other life threatening illnesses not getting the required treatment because the hospitals will be over capacity. This is Italy right now. I believe ambulances that used to respond within 8 minutes in Lombardy now take over an hour.south korea is our best data source, and it puts it at .6%. still bad, about 20ish times worse than the flu, but its not Spanish flu ;levels. all said we are for sure going in to global ressesion.
I mean do we need make "haha look how wrong you were posts?" over a month later? It's not going to happen any faster because you post more times about it. Just report the thread and let the mods decide.
They still ignored an industry developer stating outsourced studios had already been closed in favour of their hot takes complaining about the media and "it's just a flu".Not gonna blame them tbh. This shit escalated beyond what most of us thought.
Missing /s, I hope. Otherwise 🙄
I mean in this case this shows that people should think better about these types of things instead of going "lol no" also this thread is a month old and pretty relevant so there wouldn't be a problem with bumping itI mean do we need make "haha look how wrong you were posts?" over a month later?
RE3 isn't an issue. The game is mostly about running away from a tyrant monster. They still ignored an industry developer stating outsourced studios had already been closed in favour of their hot takes complaining about the media and "it's just a flu".
On the topic, I really wonder how RE3 and TLOU2 are supposed to be marketed in the current landscape.
It's not getting delayed, people alrrady have it preloaded.I'm obviously assuming no one is put in dangers by releasing it, especially because you can buy it digitally.

Tlou2...idk, I don't think it would either, they are still putting up ellie editions more and more and it's in 2 months.
Yea this isn't comparable to like the earthquake or something at all. If there was a game specifically about some kind of pandemic or something, then yea.Yeah, the game is done. So delaying it wouldn't be about physical aspect, but because it might feel tasteless to release a game that deal with a outbreak in the current climate. But we're talking about zombies and monsters here.

Stay safe little guy. Don't be penguin zero.Thankfully, there's still no reports of COVID-19 in the antarctic. Hope it stays that way.
Feb 3rd wasn't a week ago.Ah, this thread was made a week ago. It's scary how much things have changed in a span of a week.
